A few pics of some King&Country Luftwaffe ground crew and pilots with a Stuka thrown in for good measure. Gives a general idea of how good a K&C Stuka would look !!!

Nice PanzerAce1944. Until K&C comes out with a Stuka, the 21st Century Stukas look pretty good with K&C Luftwaffe figures. Here's one of mine.

Tha Stuka is by The Ultimate Soldier 32x series. Figures are all King&Country. Sorry about the pics not being sharper, but that the best that my cell phone camera puts out. Having lots of issues cropping down pics using my digital camera ! Anyway yes looking at this bird a K&C version would be simply............Awesome !!!! :rolleyes2:

I know the stuka's are 1/32 but they still look pretty good.

The Stuka from K&C would be very very nice; But I wonder how many collectors can afford it {eek3} ( I know I can't)

Re : Building Your Own Stuka!

Hi Guys,

Many thanks for your many ideas and suggestions on how to build a better Stuka… We’re looking into several of these ideas at present. However…

Re “UK Subs” suggestion of following the example of 21st Century and making it in plastic… Allow me to explain…

1. 21st Century utilized plastic. This means very special, very expensive tooling and dies which can for a model the size of a Stuka run up to US$25-50,000 for each aircraft.

2. That means having to manufacture many, many thousands of a model to ensure that you can amortize your costs.

3. To sell many thousands of a model you must deal with major retailers )not toy soldier dealers) like “TOYS’R’US” and “WALLMART”

4. Deal with these “BIG BOYS” and they will screw you into the deck on price then…
a. if your product does not sell to their satisfaction they will “discount you to death!”
b. Tell you to “buy back” your own product and reimburse them for their trouble!!!

5. all of the above (and much more) led to the financial ruin and demise of 21st Century. But hey, who cares they made great cheap affordable aircraft and they made in 1/18 scale as well!!!

Thanks but no thanks for the suggestion UK Subs… sorry to rain on your parade.

Best wishes and happy collecting,
Andy C.

Hi Andy,

Thank you for a very illuminating and clear statement on costs.

Great information.
