Is it just me or is there alot of whinging going on "EVERYWHERE" camo dots not right,decals wrong,to expensive,to big,to small,not right,historically incorrect,PRICE,PRICE,PRICE man just be grateful we have such great companies creating such great vehicles/figures.If times are tough money wise it isn't the fault of TS companies look around the world as a whole isn't exactly running as a welled oiled machine,countries in debt for billions,economys collapsing every where its all doom and gloom,i come on here and collect purely and simply for the pleasure of it all and to escape all the crap going on out there for a while.
If its to expensive etc etc don't buy it and don't spoil it for others,i appreciate some have the skills to fix these things and i appreciate there comments,but why not just say that's wrong and that's how you could fix it (some of us don't care its minutely wrong).I know im no saint and had my moments of "Sooking" but now IMO all the negatives are out weighing the positives EASILY.................{sm5}{sm5}{sm5}.

If one subject/line/mfr/series gets out of reach, look for another one.
There is plenty of alternatives/variations out there in the Toy Soldier World.

I must be reading a different forum as to me there been a lot positive post , K&C WW1 plane, Figarti He 219 ,Cont Roman & a lot move have all been well liked but if someone has a problem with a item coming damaged or they don't like the decals on a item It a good thing to post on the forum telling members this problem & if they take the time to post photos they should be thanked not moan at as then you can make your own opinion up about buying it . A good forum is all about different opinion , for me people keep posting I WANT A STUKA all the time is very boring , I would like to see some more K&C Market Garden figures & Andy said there coming so that fine with me but till they show up I will carry on collecting Figarti V range , you could say you post is a moan post as well mate ,the end of the day the forum is what people make it :smile2:

You are right mate you have contributed to what could and has been seen as negatives and posts which could be seen as not fun. I suppose we all have. I think and I have looked back that its not been much different in the years gone past I saw a big bust up and many negatives and price attacks as far back as the Panzer Meyer command set and beyond. There have been accuracy posts equally as long and, again, the sets that collectors now buy are not manufactured and sold as ''toys'' they are sold as historical collectables not on some for the ages of fourteen and below so, its an adult hobby where we all to certain extents can afford it and want the best products. Its also, a fact that many collectors are now more aware of their history and lets say the nuts and bolts of what it consists of. From that naturally comes the demand with the price for detail and accuracy.

This forum when I last looked was to talk about all things toy soldiers and, that includes price accuracy detail painting as well as the rah rah. I also look at the forum and have to agree with Neil that its far more positive than it is negative and, indeed whether its agreed with or not many like to know that what they are buying is as good as its priced at.

I think that you will find that when we are constantly told to buy what you like and buy what you can afford then read what you like and don't read what you dont like could be the next forum mantra. The negative and positive is all part of the enjoyment of the hobby or, as Brett has taken my suggestion and is fevourishly working away at the plans for a lengthy post on fun in the hobby we should await what he posts to ensure we all have some fun!!!!

Regarding my fun thread I regret to say Ostrein has beaten me to it under the Diorama section. Back to the drawing board for me.

I do however think it is time for Andy to come up with another of his Forum cartoons. Or maybe somebody can find his old one and post it here.

Whinger 1st Class, Lance Whinger, Company sergeant Whinger etc. or possibly a decoration scheme, Distinguished Whinging Cross,Knight's Whinging Cross with Oak Leaves and Diamonds or the Pour Le Whinge? Good idea however, there would be great debate about whether it would be the ''big boys'' who got to make them or what they would be made of ''lightweight plastic'' or great ''lumps of polystone'' or whether the details would be accurate enough after moulding and I bet they would not be the right colour, size or the decals should they be used may reflect in the beholders eyes or, indeed the actual paint would flake off. But, the one great problem would be they would all end up broken in those ''transit accidents''

As for the moaning, well it bothers me not one iota. This is a free forum and we should encourage free speech . It's also interesting to see what folk may or may not complain about. And also, and I'm sorry if this upsets anyone, but moaning from any number of people would never put me off buying something I like in a million years, I really enjoy the hobby and the product I collect most of, if someone for instance does not like the Typhoon then it's their right to say so, me I love it and can't wait to get my collecting paws on it!
