Really nice sets Martyn. Are these what you acquired from MLK?

Many thanks Tommy.

I placed the order for them back in '92 with Lynn at MKL. There were 8 separate orders, had to spread the cost^&grin

I still have the original order request

ORDER 1 - 60TH RIFLES

ORDER 2 - 91ST HIGHLANDERS

ORDER 3 - RMLI

ORDER 4 - NAVAL BRIGADE which included RMA and NB ARTILLERY and GATLING GUNS

ORDER 5 - 3RD (THE BUFFS)

ORDER 6 - 57TH

ORDER 7 - EXTRA FIGURES FOR MY RORKES DRIFT/ISANDLWANA

ORDER 8 - 99TH

I think the whole order took about a year to be filled

Thanks Martyn. Len said he did the order for MKL but they weren't big sellers like the 24th Regt.

Hi Tommy

I think you mistook my reply.

MKL never stocked any of these sets as standard lines nor did Len produce them as such.

Lynn Kenwood is a personal friend of mine and ordered the sets as a favour for me, there may well be 1 or 2 other similar sets out there but I have yet to see any.

I’ll give Len a ring later this morning to see if he remembers any other sets being produced

Hi Tommy

As an update I have just had another fascinating chat with Len and this is what he tells me.

There could be a few sets of AZW variations in the US, there was a dealer who Len thinks could have ordered some, not sure which Regiments or how many though, happy hunting :wink2:

Cheers

Martyn:)

Martyn,
If Len told you the dealer's name I can check. I know almost every former US Trophy dealer. You can write me to my e-mail.
