This is a good looking aircraft. Add it to my list, please. -- Al

I may have to let this go as apart from not having any Luftwaffe figures I've loads to catch up with, but this looks a great release, and it wouldn't be the first time I've changed my mind!

I saw this as well and almost said something about it on here but didn't because I wasnt sure exactly what it was (poly, wood, or what have you).^&confuse

Can't wait for this to be released, looks superb there goes buying a Typhoon 2 of these together will look superb on my airfield...........:D:D

I don't think the canopy will open as that will raise the price. What improvements do you wish on this ME109 as I suspect that with a very few modifications this will be the same version with just a repaint for the BOB as they are the same variant both aircraft. I hope that the price will not be higher than the SL version as that had a figure and, was an SL but, who knows????? The cost of paint, packaging, dispatch, wages all increase monthly!!! but, from the one picture one has to say, so far, it looks a very nice aircraft

Also check out the condor legion aircraft on John Jenkins' forum (link below)... the canopy of their aircraft can be OPENED! I wonder if K&C will be able to 'improve' their Messerschmitt this time? (but from the photo it seems the canopy is locked, just like the Star of Africa aircraft?)

When do you think Andy will release vehicles for the lufftwaffe

Got to be soon as we have quite a bit in the range now. There are a few RAF vehicles and they may have been busy doing these. Guessing what they will be or, may be is half the fun and, a good job it is because I rarely get it right!!! .

The desert Bowser also gives us a huge clue to what's on the hot hazy horizon regarding the RAF. Looks like Rommel may soon have to worry about his supply columns!

Hawker ''can opener'' Hurricane. That would indeed be a great release

The BOB will be a different version than the AK one, I am sure because look at the wing tip, the AK version hand a round edge, whereas this BOB one is slanted

The BoB Bf-109 was the E variant, while the Marseille desert Bf-109 was the F variant. As noted, the E version had squared wingtips and heavier armament, 2 Mgs and 3 cannon, while the F had rounded wingtips and was armed with 2 Mgs and 1 cannon. Many German aces felt the F model was the best Bf variant. -- Al
