Great pics mate they would all look great together.
Looks AWSOME, thanks for sharing.
Rob, glad that your patience in waiting for this beauty has been rewarded. It is a magnificent looking tank-killer, big and brutal. KC does a wonderful job with their aircraft and this looks to be the finest yet. Great get! -- Al
Great looking pics Rob !!! Glad to see you are very pleased with this release. Mine should arrive in 2 days and will be sure to post pics of a
dio with this beauty !!!
Thanks guys:smile2: Hey PA, please post pics here when yours arrives, its fast becoming the TF Typhoon Squadron gallery!^&cool
Congrats on this wonderful addition to your collection. One of the joys of this hobby is the anticipation we all feel when we are really looking forward to receiving a particular piece and then ofcourse when we get it not being disappointed by it. It really wouldn't be D-Day without a tank buster! Thanks for the photo's, the plane looks even better than the marketing pictures. I really like that D-Day colouration. I'd like to see that camo/striping put on some other D-Day warbirds. Personally I'm passing on this bird because ( and beauty is in the eye of the beholder here ) the Typhoon has never appealed much to me because it looks thick and stubby, certainly not as graceful as the single seat fighters from the day e.g. Spitfire or Mustang. Given its large size and if the price had been more reasonable it would have made my "I'll pick it up eventually list" but as is there is no chance, too many other things on the list I would like. ^&cool
Thanks CFM. I do understand what you mean about the single seater fighters such as the Spitfire and Mustang etc, the Typhoon is indeed a much chunkier and less graceful aircraft . For me the attraction I guess is the power and threat this aircraft had. The psychological and physical threat this aircraft produced on the enemy was huge and because of this German armour was reluctant to move around in daylight hours in Normandy, a huge achievement in itself let alone the actual Tanks and vehicles it knocked out . As you say CFM D Day wouldn't be D Day without the Typhoon, and K&C's model is spot on.
Mine came too Rob- absolutely love it.
Here's some pictures - go easy on me guys i knows it's not an accurate airfield!

Hi Guys,
Good to see some happy Typhoon collectors.
Regarding the K&C "Wanted" Collector postcard in Rob's photo it was something I received in multiples as a dealer
a couple of years ago. Other promotional items would include K&C "dog tags", Calenders (some free and I usually buy 100 extra to give away), shopping bags, denim Shirts, Christmas cards, Christmas wrapping ribbon and gift cards, and Andy sketches (usually at K&C events).
Regards
Brett
Hi Guys,
Good to see some happy Typhoon collectors.
As a dealer I can say this has been an interesting release. I was worried about the price initially but whilst not
a cheap item (in fact K&C's most expensive item by $70, apart from Warbirds) it has sold very well. My sales have been
quicker than that of the Spitfire (which was a Kiwi pilot) with two collectors buying two (did not have that with
the Spitfire). Clearly there is something about the Typhoon that attracts the collector despite the high
price relative to the Spitfire.
It is my understanding less than 10% remain at K&C so check carefully with your dealers if you are planning
to get one.
