Axis leaders and stand is really cheap!!! Know there is some time left but a bargain

Considering the condition of the Axis Leaders set, which looks to be brand new, I can see this set going for north of $700.
 
That set will still hold immense value Wayne. Probably won't fetch the amount of the Sphinxes but could still easily fall in the $350- $450 mark. Rest assured in the happiness you gave your sister.

I guess of course I am kind of evil as I gave my oldest son the Yank 03- GI with dog eating a hot dog. Once I saw how much that sucker was going for, I "repossed it" He can have it back someday, he isn't even a dog lover. {sm4}

The sad thing to watch re the Egyptians has been the decline in the Cleopatra set.Initially issued at like $59, it was hitting $300+ up till when KC re-released her.

Another thing- those sphinxes went for $55 when I bought them, now that is almost the cost of a figure!! {sm2}

Yeah i got them at a steal off ebay yonks ago.
 
Regarding Cleopatra - you are right. I bought the new version and was surprised to acquire the old set for 150 on EBay last month. I was lucky enough to find the scaffolding for under $90 on a UK site.
 
the scaffolding set is quite versatile. I am amazed on some of the prices that set fetches as it was $21. I snatched up three of them as soon as they were announced as retired. I have one with my Egyptians, one with my modern afghanistan display and one with my Romans.
