With three company make the same plane just wonder how many people are going to buy the plane and if there buy more than one ? I think it great a stuka being made but find it very odd that it being made by three different firms

Perhaps its just that they all realised that despite it being an iconic piece of German weaponry no one was making one at this time so they all pushed the button? And even if its three different producers making one that could mean eventually at least six different camo's! (who knows?:))

For Stuka enthusiasts this book is prety much a Stuka Bible for camo's ;

John at JJ showed me it and I honestly had no idea of just how many schemes the Stuka had. As I say ,well worth it for enthusiasts, they also do one for the Hurricane that I may pick up.

I wonder if Figarti will have their version out in time for the Westcoaster next year? Just looking at Westcoaster date, and March is already shaping up to be another cracking month, Westcoaster, then Dispatches, then another London show...lovely stuff!{bravo}}

Depends on what is released. The info bandied around so far. Three colour ways from JJD are in the off. Figarti to make at least two, possibly three one with Canons so, they state and, K&C making three from a variety of mediums, so we are told!!!!

That means that there could be nine stuka's from the Spanish civil war to the canon busters of Rudel and the eastern front. While its a nice aircraft I would say this is overboard for any aircraft not, just the stuka.

Only two versions would interest me the Spanish civil war and the canon carrying variants. I could afford them but, do I want two and, they are big aircraft so, space will be a killer.

Very few will buy all nine and, I think the way that aircraft are selling or, not selling out even, at runs of 100 makes this even more a strange decision from three manufacturers.

Glad its being done but,
Mitch

It your spot on mate

If I buy a Stuka, it will be a Condor Legion version, so that means the JJD version, I'm guessing. I believe that 3 manufacturers making 2 or 3 versions each will leave plenty of planes around for a while and thus eliminate any particular pressure to buy in a hurry. As I said in another thread, space is paramount to me, so no guarantee I can buy such a large plane at this point. -- Al

If JJD and Figarti make Stukas, you have to wonder if K & C will join the frey. Sure there are only people who will only buy K & C but I wonder how much of a market there would be left to them, if they are the third entrant. I also wonder how strong their desire is to make one now, with the engineering challenges that present themselves, and competitors.

I would buy one at most two stukas.
Happy to wait and see who makes the best

I was thinking the samething Brad

If I do buy one it will be figarti but a stuka not on the top of my want list

I won't be buying one since I already have one. It is one of the Philippine mahogany 1/32 scale versions in green with yellow engine cowling and rudder trim. The underside is a light gray or blue. It has a large bomb in a carriage sling on the center line and two smaller bombs on each of the wings. It is very large so I have it displayed on top of one of my curios. I believe I only paid about $100 for it; a real bargain.

Well looking at the poll with only ten people saying there buying it make you wonder why three company are rushing make it.

Its not really a flood for it. It does seem that when one jumps on something everyone does. Just means IMO a lot of dusty Stuka's sitting around. Shame none are out now we could have marketed it as follows '' remember, a stuka is not just for christmas''

It seems, ''if they make it all others will too'' should be the new mantra!! not forgetting, whether they actually want it????

Its feast or famine in this hobby

The main problem is companies reacting to what the others are doing and trying to jump in on the act instead of pursuing their own agenda. Just shows a lack of imagination and original thinking. Trooper

I will be purchasing multiple versions of the Stuka.

I just hope if K&C releases 3 different versions they don't release them all at once as they did with the WW1 Albatross.

They should spread them out to 1 a month at least, especially if the run on them is around 150 or less.
