A new terrain mat and backdrop (from JG Miniatures) for my Crimean War collection, so I thought a few photos wouldn’t go amiss. :wink2:

Thanks

Jeff

Very impressive display

I bought Lord Raglan and Earl of Lucan from Frontline today cause K&C UK will not produce these guys

The scale is slightly smaller than K&C, but still look OK when displayed together.

Also, I have collected a few Hachette French soldiers in 1/30 that would be present in the Crimea war.

but no doubt, K&C UK's Crimea war is the best in the market. Too bad they are overpriced, and hence, discontinued.

Jeff, although this is not "my war" I find it a very impressive display
guy:)

Nice sets .I do not collect this time period but your displays make it tempting.Thanks Mike B.

More excellent pictures Jeff, as you know this is one of my favourite Campaigns :salute::

By the way I love that JG backdrop{bravo}}

Cheers

Martyn:)

Jeff, That's a very fine dio. It really is amazing what a backdrop and a mat can do for a shelf/cabinet display.:smile2:

Also, I believe K&C did a beautiful job with the Crimean figures; very colorful, and animated.

Enjoy

Joe

Many thanks for sharing your pictures with us
Very nice dio - I like how you mixed the "Charge" with the "Thin red line"
The range itself is without doubt one of the best K&C ranges - most of the figures have very dynamic poses. In my personal ranking this range is no.2 (no. 1 is BBG/BBA)

best regards from Germany

Thanks everyone - much appreciated. :smile2:

This is my favourite range by K&C and it's a shame it has come to an end. Yes, a terrain mat and a backdrop works wonders! {sm3}

Cheers.

Great display Jeff, thanks for posting. I am nearly there with my Crimean sets and it is my favourite K&C range of all. The sculpting and painting are superb and I think they are good value as other ranges have increased in cost. It's a shame that there are some personality figures missing like Raglan, Lucan, maybe even William Russell. P.S. Hell Riders by Terry Brighton is an excellent book. Available on audio download too!

What is BBG/BBA?

I couldn't agree more, today's pricing of new figures make these look quite favourable cost wise.
