But is it the same one Mr Duke used Rob that is the question lol

' lol' about what????

Well anyway, as I'm sure you know 112 squadron flew Tomahawk I's, IIA's and IIB's so I'm guessing that he flew several versions and the Kittyhawk before going onto Spits.

Pre-ordered mine yesterday. Maybe Andy will come out with an AVG version, would look nice side-by-side on my shelf. :smile2: Chris

My sentiments, exactly. I also put my order in for the beauty today, too. -- Al

This is going to be a splendid addition to the Warbird collection isn't it. From first pics it's up there with the Spit,Typhoon and 190 by the look of it. May now have to get one of those AK Nissen huts and ' Tommy ' it up a bit.

Well Rob first off I was only joking with you mate , just thought it was funny you posted a photo of a six gun plane then very fast removed it that all . Found this out about Neville Duke plane the one K&C made
Tomahawk Mk.IIb, AK402 GA-F (US designation P-40C) 112 Squadron RAF. Flown by Pilot Officer Neville Duke. Based at Fort Maddelena, Libya. November, 1941.Neville Duke was one of the highest scoring Allied aces, with 27 kills by the war’s end. While flying AK402, Duke was shot down on Nov 30, 1941 by Otto Schulz of 4/JG27. He belly landed safely. AK402 was delivered in factory scheme of Dark Green/Dark Earth and DuPont Light Grey. Dark Green was overpainted in the field with Middle Stone applied freehand with a spray gun. Camouflage demarcations are a little wider than normal, probably 2”. Undersides were repainted Azure Blue. No wing leading edge stripes. Wheel hubs azure. Note repainted patch behind code letter F.

Yeah I removed it because there was a copyright warning on it Neil, that's why I didn't quite get what was funny. I get it now, you mean you thought I'd removed it because it had six guns unlike the K&C version , and therefore ( still guessing here) you thought it meant K&C's version was wrong. As the article showed there were several version used in the time he was in the desert 41-42 , so no doubt these pilots flew various Mks at some point.

No, obviously I wasn't saying any version is correct, what I did was point out to your original post about mg's that there were more than one Mk of this aircraft. Obviously an Ace had his own specific aircraft but at times during repair, servicing or being shot down (as he was) pilots would have flown other rides.

Excellent job K&C keep it up^&cool

Well Rob let hope kc make a Spitfire VC desert version + a hurricane tank buster to go with the great looking P40
