A Tiger I stops along a forest road and a tanker gets out to scan the countryside. An infantryman riding on top of the tank thought he had spotted something suspicious across the snow covered field.

One of the pieces of my collection I value the most... the Winter Tiger I. I'm always trying to come up with a scene for it, and in this one I've taken the binoculars searching figure from set WS080 and also added a couple of First Legion tank riders to complete the scene.

Very well done Duke, i love the way you do the winter pic's, sort of a dawn or dusk shots with a very realistic feel about them. The FL figures work well with the K&C Tiger as well.

Tom

Duke excellent mate, nearly makes me want to start collecting WW2 Jerries.......{bravo}}
Wayne.

Thanks guys for the comments, and Tom thanks for the comment on the dusk style pictures, glad you like it.

A few more pics.

Luke...come to the dark side...you know you want to.
I am seriously considering a cottage industry selling dead enemy figures and AFV, might that be the dark side? {eek3}
Duke very nice mate..
Wayne.

YOU gotta love the English language..."a tanker gets out"...but it's not a ship or a truck...it's a man.
Years ago in Brisbane Air Traffic Control Tower: "Speedbird 539, hold short of Runway 13; Porter crossing left to right"...the Jumbo halts but there is silence...then "Speedbird 539 to Tower, say again??".....after repeating instruction..."Tower, er, Speedbird 539, confirm I'm holding my 747 for a baggage handler" .... "er no Speedbird, it's a military aircraft, Pilatus Porter, landing on Runway 13"....^&confuse{sm4}

But I too like your dusk/dawn photography - any tips?

excellent pictures and a great mix and match of manufacturers. To me, IMO these winter FL figures don't look out of place with the K&C armour. really nice set up
Mitch

Thanks Y'ALL for the comments (a little Southern US English for ya Fitzgibbon:)). I think these FL figures go well with this K&C Tiger.

I vary the amount of light on the dio. I use a lamp in a low light setting and angle the lamp until almost no light is on the backwall (which is light blue in color) and it comes out with almost a black background. I monkey around with this and by trial and error get what I like. Sometimes I use the flash and sometimes I don't. I'm certainly no pro photographer!:tongue:

Great K & C / FL combo Duke....I love it! And it looks extremely cold! Another fine job; thanks for sharing.

Joe
