Just a week ago I picked up my six new K&C Russain Army Infantrymen sets. Due to lighting problems in display area I had set up I did not get one of the new K&C Russian tanks and just went with the six infantrymen figures. Yesterday I bought another Orion Furniture Concepts bookcase made in Ontario, Canada for only $15.84 + sales tax which is a real bargain for a assemble yourself bookcase that is not bad looking at all for this price. And today I secured one set of K&C's RA 025-3 of one of their T-34 tanks to be placed on the new display (top of bookcase) area of about 24+ by 9+ inches along with the six Russian Infantrymen figures. Now at last I have a "proper" diorama to represent the Russians in WW2. Please see the five new photos of this revised diorama below.

Very nice addition to your scene Gary. Thats a nice tank, don't collect Russian front but I like this. Great post. Chris

Of all 3 T-34`s released, you picked the the one I like the most, and what a change it brought to your dio! Congratulations!

I want to thank the three (3) early on comments to my new Thread in the first 2 hours after it started by "Terp152"; Blowtorch" & "Sentaapua"!!!

I wonder why K & C modelled the T34 with the driver's hatch open when they did not model a driver figure with the vehicle?

Hello "graycap":
Your above question can only be answered by Andy or someone else at King & Country I would think.

I saw all the Russians in the 'Flesh' yesterday at my local 'Bricks and motar' shop which brings up two points, first all the negative stuff about these figures was total rubbish, they are well made and painted figures and the tank is the same. Secondly you can't beat having a 'Bricks and motar' place to visit and see the real thing on display and socialise with fellow collectors, sometimes the makers photos don't do their products justice.

IronBrigade, I'm glad you decided to pick up one of the new T-34's to go along with your display. They look great together. Enjoy !!!

Awesome pic's and collection Gary, well done mate.

I wish I had a store to see the pieces in the flesh before making a purchase. I agree pictures don't always do justice to the releases. That's one of the main reasons for my participation on the forum is so I can see other collectors pics and comments before making a final purchasing decision. As for the Soviets I'm not a big collector however I recognize the need to have token representation in a collection and in that respect an iconic T-34 with a few soldiers is a terrific way to go as depicted here. ^&cool

Hello "Cyber Field Marshall":

Thanks for your comments to my Thread on my revised diorama of WW2 Russian Army sets made by K&C. I trust you noted that the new bookcase that was used to display my enlarged diorama was made in Canada! Yes, it is nice to see some sets in person, however King & Country's web-site certainly uses great photos that can be enlarged to give one a look look over of the figures(s), etc.

wheels were poorly made. some more variations between the tanks would have been nice.

Alas, I can not claim to be a "wheels on tanks" expert and therefore I am unable to address your above noted comment of "wheels were poorly made".

Im refering to the wheels that the treads go around. unless you made the thing you do not have to address it. thanks though "iron"

Vanilla mate,
Take it from one who has cleaned and changed many a road wheel in his time that after a winter's exercise with plenty of mud, they look pretty good to me. Must agreed with other posters that the pictures do not do these AFVs proper justice. Sitting here having just open a box from my dealer they are much better in the flesh.

Gary mate,
Great set up cobber. I always enjoy your work.

Cheers Howard
