Well, they say it ain't over until the fat lady sings but, in terms of the show all the releases we are going to see have been showcased in Chicago or, just before. For me, in terms of releases looking across the board at those who showcased theirs I favour the releases from K&C.

The Winter Tiger looks very nice as does the two variants of the winterised russian T-34 the dio's which supplemented the releases looked superb also. The improved painting on the winter versions and, the weathering on the current grey releases looks very good and, I like the Tiger mold in terms of scale and detail compared to other offerings. if they were placed on a table my option would be to go for the K&C versions everytime.

Just have to glimpse the new figures for Bulge and the early germans but, would expect them to be in keeping with what we have seen in previous releases in terms of detail etc

All in all K&C kept my interest in this years show.

Yep, K&C ahead at this Chicago I'd say, the Winter Tiger and Easy 8 the standouts for me, looking forward to seeing those Bulge figures too. Some great scenes created by Gordon to display it all on as well{bravo}}

Rob...

and dont forget the 6 Lighthorse figures who appeared in colour for the first time (prototypes previously seen).

I was expecting K&C would have a ceremonial display at the show as shown in the new Collector.

Figarti Tiger and T34 far superior to K&C's. My opinion K&C made improvements with its vehicles but they are still behind.

I had a closer look at the Figarti new winter T34 and I must say " very accurate detail and a fabulous paint job" One of the best I saw recently !

Neil, I don't think that is needed mate, if I've read his post right I don't think Mitch is asking who's product was best in Chicago, I think he is stating in his opinion K&C's product was, that's why he's put it here.

Cheers

There is no doubt King&Country has done a top notch job with all of the new product releases and their displays
Going on right now at the Chicago show. {bravo}}

I have a lot to buy during the next 2 months. ^&grin

Well Rob just thought It would be a lot better if everyone could give there opinion on what they thought was the best item at the show mate as Mitch does say across the board kc had the nicest items for him that all no big deal :)

K & C has definitely shown very well as usual at the big show. The K & C Tigers look exceptional. I particularly like the latest winterized Tiger and frozen support troops. The Easy 8 Sherman looks fantastic as well, and how about Gordon's mansion dio that the Easy 8 and troops are displayed on?{eek3}!{eek3}!{eek3}! Just brilliant work. I'd like to be the lucky collector who's taking that dio home!!! Hopefully we'll see more detail images of the new winter Germans & GI's.

Since this thread implies comparison between "across the board" showcased offerings from other manufacturer's and thus how they rate, I think it's appropriate to mention opinions on the other home run hitter at the party...

......alongside K & C there is no doubt that Figarti is having an impressive showing to say the least. (Perhaps pics of the Figarti room displays will be coming soon?^&confuse?) But the stock images of the Vietnam releases are simply incredible. The new Figarti winter T34 is quite the stunner too, isn't she??? I like how it comes with a full figure. The earliest of early Tigers looks quite nice as well, and it's unique qualities fit right in w/ Figarti's forte.

So from what I've seen so far I think we have an A1 & A2 alignment with all the others in the chasing pack, but will reserve final observations as the coverage unfolds to paint a more complete picture. But the exciting releases by these two big boys will be very hard to meet or beat!!

I've really enjoyed the pics from the show this year. Not as many surprises as in the past but lots of great products being released across era's and manufacturer's. Gordon's diorama's as always for me are the standout by far. The K&C winter Tiger is probably my favourite but the Figarti T-34 looks good too. ^&cool
