Went to the wonderful Bovington Tank Museum this past weekend, every AFV you could want to see is there. Am starting a ' Bovvy' thread downstairs in the basement later today. But just for now here is a couple for Wayne;

Cheers Rob, I had a gander and they look great. Maybe I should start a thread about my trip to the Musee Des Blindes museum in France several years ago. I took a zillion pic's while I was there and nearly missed my flight home because I lost track of time!

Rob,

Bovington is a great tank museum. Wonderful place if you are a fan of WWII tanks. I was there about twenty years or so ago (when I was a young man!) and truly enjoyed myself. I met an old WWII 8th Army vet as I was studying a Grant tank. Was a truly wonderful day. I see they still have the old King Tiger (in the background of your Jagdpanther photo). Here's one of me beside it from all those years ago. Wayne, if you ever get the chance, this is one museum you would want to check out.

Excellent pic Duke. It really is a world class museum and I was astonished by just how much WW1/2 hardware they have . From the Jagdtiger and that awesome KT you are stood next to right down to the Goliath and everything in between. Great value too as one entry gets you in for a year, so surprise surprise I'll be going back!!:wink2: The lady at the desk said ' yep we do that because the husbands always want to come back, not the wives just the husbands!^&grin
