The K&C Americans are one of my favourite ranges - they all have a bit of character with the pained expressions, stubble and the odd cigarette. This diorama took a while to put together picking up pieces here and there and deciding the best place to put them, whether to have a base or a background etc. Finally decided on a base with a mirror background so you can see the back of the figures but it does make photo's difficult. Anyway - here's my collection of BBA with a few BBG trying to sneak away unseen......

Very nice diorama and I agree with you about the BBA figures... they might be my favorites from K&C.{bravo}}

Excellent dio Simmo and I know what you mean about the difficulty in taking pic's with a mirror in the background, you have your mug in the pic's! You're pic's came out really well tho.

I thought I would answer this one Marc, I think the buildings are made by JG Miniatures.

Looks great, love all that snow and that building, plus you can just make out some Jerries, lurking about behind that wall.^&grin

Thanks for all the kind comments - I am a "long time lurker, infrequent poster" but now I have finally worked out how to compress files and attach pictures!!!

Most of the credit does go to JG Miniatures for the bases and buildings and K&C for the great figures.

I found the best way to photograph with a mirror background is to do it in the middle of the night when it's dark but as I work shifts and I'm up and about at all hours then this isn't much of a problem.

I considered covering the bases with snow/rubble but I'm a constant "move it back 2mm, turn it 5 degrees".

Thanks again........and here are a few more. Simmo

Simmo, We will be looking forward to seeing more of your photos and displays !

Nice diorama. K&C certainly does a very good Battle of the Bulge series. Many of the pieces in it are amongst the favourites in my collection. I think if K&C did a figure based on me that one of the GI drinking the cup of coffee is close! ^&cool
