I find myself somewhat perplexed as to why no "manu" has seen fit to provide The Star of Africa with a properly adorned kubelwagen. He rates a TS aircraft and figure, but no ground transportation. Seeing as how there's absolutely no shortage of interest in the subject, how is one to explain the omission?

I spoke recently with Wayne about this as I am half way through repainting the ME 109 and, have just bought a desert Kubel to repaint and have these decals ready to make for a dio for myself.

Hi Mitch,

I've looked for decals in (or near) scale, but haven't found any. I'm up for an attempt at painting OTTO on the side, but I'm afraid my decorating skills don't include the small animals which adorn the letters. So, where'd you find the decals?^&confuse

decals came from Hannants a large model shop/dealer in the UK. They are 1/35th scale but, are large anyway and, fit the side of the Kubel fine. I thought about painting the Otto itself is easy enough but, it would take to long having to then add all the animals on top and get everything right. I would get bored too quickly as desert is not my thing I just like the Marseille aircraft and Kubel.
