Balloon Detachment. (1 Viewer)

As part of our Great War dio at Nudgee we hope to incorporate an observation balloon and it would need a ground crew/detachment. So I modified a couple of die cast trucks to become a winch truck and a auxiliary truck, please forgive the artistic licence taken :wink2: Here I created a scene using JJD figures to show the vehicles.

They were a couple of 1/32 ten dollar die cast trucks I got on EBay, both from the USA.

Remember seeing recently in one of my mags, a gloss balloon on a wire from the ground and was described as an observation balloon. Cannot remember the manufacturer, but it has been done in our scale, so would be handy if it could be found for some inspiration. Robin.
