Thought I'd start a seperate thread to stick some photos on. I'll have to do it a bit at a time though, as I've got to upload the photos and the computer seems to be objecting a bit.

A few ramblings on the show first. The Forum members, I had the pleasure of meeting and socialising with at the show include:

HRH Shannon
Kevin (panda1gen)
Rob
Glynn (RAMC)
Hugh (hhenry)
Hoogri
Normandy 1944
Clive (Lurchio)
Andy C (there are children in the room) Neilson
Rick Wang
Ken Osen
Richard Walker

and of course, the entire K&C UK day shift crew:
Dispatch Dave and
Bob Neville

I'm sure I'm missing someone here, but I've checked my photos and those are the only 2 K&C UK forum members I can see...

UKReb - Bob, sorry to have missed meeting you at the show. If I've missed anyone out, then I apologise.

I got in for the early bird session just in time to see Rob part with his entire show budget and more. This was approx 5 minutes after the show opened, so it shows that Rob has got the necessary willpower to pace himself for the day.:D

The K&C UK Film crew were in attendance, so what I have missed out on (including some of the member mugshots), hopefully Bob will pick up on in K&C UKTV.

Although this is only the second London show I've been to, the reports were that it was very busy and as has been mentioned, there seemed to be a good few kids in attendance as well.

I was watching one 7 (?) year old with his Dad making a purchase of what appeared to be his first K&C figure, one of the Market Garden singles. It really was good to see - the intense look on his face, trying to decide which one to go for.

Photos coming up next,

Simon

So, starting in alphabetical order (ducking now), some K&C pics:

It really is very cool. Shame the creater wasn't about to talk about it on the day, but you know how food poisoning can affect people. S'funny, nobody else had food poisoning...

Figarti were also running a free draw for one of the Tigers. I think they got suspicious after my 10th or 11th prize draw slip submission

I don't follow Frontline too closely, so I just snapped at anything with 'New' plastered next to it.

Wraith,

You're the MAN! Outstanding photos and interesting too. LOL.

B17 pilots are new from Chicago and look great too!

How does the Figarti FM32 LDRG's look compared to the FM30 LRDG's if you remember?

I see it's going to be remain difficult not to collect WWI.

Thanks loads,

Carlos

Carlos,

More to come on WWI in a bit. The E-boat looks fantastic, but the B-17s really blew me away (must not get in to planes, must not get in to planes..)

There is a slight difference in scale between the FM32 and the FM30 Chevys, consistant (IMO) with the scales they represent. Kudos to Figarti for sticking with the FM32 Chevy for those such as myself, who've got the Jeeps. Other than the scale, they stack up the same.

Simon
