Simon: Thank you for posting such quality pictures. My Christmas list is so long it is touching the floor.:D I know it would take some serious negotiations to cut the list. I enjoy your Russian picture because I am painting some Russians and that is a good reference. You must have an excellent camera.I Like it all. Leadmen

Viriato - my pleasure :)

Brad, you're right, I'm no expert on Frontline, but these figures looked brilliant.

Kevin, the pleasure was all mine - and thankyou again for sharing your 'special' tea.

John - I'm really trying to resist the Russians, but it's sooooo hard.

I take it that's the prototype of the Mark IV? I remember lifting it at Valley Forge in May and it's heavy as heck. According to Treefrog, the actual is coming out in January. It's a gorgeous tank and I'm sure it will be a lot lighter :)

Some of the JJ stuff is brand spanking new, but I'm afraid I can't remember which, so you'll have to pick out the new stuff yourselves:

Yes Brad. Got to confess when I was told it was the only one in existance, I didn't feel the urge to pick it up

Yeah, they got upset with me when I did that; there were no signs saying don't touch

Carlos,

More to come on WWI in a bit. The E-boat looks fantastic, but the B-17s really blew me away (must not get in to planes, must not get in to planes..)

There is a slight difference in scale between the FM32 and the FM30 Chevys, consistant (IMO) with the scales they represent. Kudos to Figarti for sticking with the FM32 Chevy for those such as myself, who've got the Jeeps. Other than the scale, they stack up the same.

Simon

Again Simon,

Kudos to you for the awesome report and pictures. I agree with you on the Chevy LRDG's being FM32 since I also have the UK and German N. Africa sets.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if Rick produced a FM32 Tiger DAK initial production model?

Again thanks,

Carlos

Blackhawks 7th Cav - first time I've seen them all painted - look good:

Simon-
Thanks so much for posting the John Jenkins figures. These appear to be the first of the new War of 1812 line identified on another thread as the Battle of Chippewa. That Figarti E-Boat takes my breath away.

I'm sure there's plenty I've missed, but I'm guessing Bob will have the video clips up on line in the next day or 2.

It was a great day and evening. You'll be pleased to know that Tony made a sufficient recovery from his alc....food poisoning to make the evening do. As Rob has already written, the Hell Riders talk was very informative, as was Andy's talk which covered the beginnings of K&C and the company's progression through the years.

As for what's being released in 2008, well, it's a bit hazy, but as Rob has said, there was something about an Elefant, I think grey in colour, or possibly purple, I can't remember which....and some....er....ummm....nope. Gone out of my head. Must have been that last drink. ;)

A big thanks to the Neville clan for laying on the evening do and furnishing us with booze, food, entertainment and goodies.

It was a pleasure to finally meet HRH and a big thankyou for lugging toy soldiers across the Pond for me.

Simon
