Here's my Suggestion about K & C Armor and.... (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

Re John’s latest about the way forward for K&C...Why don’t I just retire and hand over K&C to John’s capable hands? After all he’s got hundreds (maybe thousands) of great ideas and he’s already, talking to companies in China!

I really must stop playing at running a toy soldier/military miniature company and hand over reins to the real experts. I think this would be a great move for the hobby...and the industry...CIAO baby!

Best seasonal wishes and happy Christmas collecting!

P.S. Ha Ha...Hee Hee...Ho Ho...only joking...I think!

This was quite a funny comment! Apparently written by someone at the end of their proverbial (feedback) rope!

K&C is a PRIVATE company -- there are no public shareholders/owners -- so really, as customers, the only "say-so" we have is with our wallets! Of course unless the owners/managers seek outside opinion directly, as with LB, I presume.

My similarly unsolicited advice for JG is -- and not intended to "dis-respect" him either --: If the idea is such a great one, do it yourself! Why let K&C accrue profits due your insights/ideas???

PS: I find JG's "Capitalizing" about every other word to be some very awkward punctuation....And what does "Much-Binding-In-The-Marsh" mean/imply?

I think it goes something like this;)

There's an Airforce station, somewhere tucked away
Where it is exactly,
we're not supposed to say.
The C.O. and the A.C.O. were always very kind
It's name is quite misleading, life never is a bind ...

At Much Binding in the Marsh, we've had some races of all sorts and sizes,
At Much Binding in the Marsh, we're giving several Waafs' away as prizes.
The quarter mile was not a race on which I will enlarge:
The Station Warrant Officer was beaten by the Sarge,
And now, of course, as you can guess,
The Sarge is on a Charge

Much Binding Sheet MusicAt Much Binding in the Marsh -
The crime wave's come we must do something drastic,
At Much Binding in the Marsh
From one plane they've stolen the elastic,
We've twisted it and then let go,
Thro' space we used to swish:
We're stuck without elastic now, but have a shrewd 'suspish',
that 'flannels' using it, to keep her 'is-sues' in 'po-sish'

The Hangar has been made a trifle wider,
At Much Binding in the Marsh
We did it to accomodate our glider
Our pilot said he'd like to try it out as it was new,
We took him up ten thousand feet and then we waved a-dieu,
He came down six months later to the north of Katman-du from Much Binding in the Marsh.

Our aerodrome defence is quite in-spiring,
At Much Binding in the Marsh
We feel as safe as houses when they're firing.
Our A.A. Bo -fors gunner is a man who never cowers,
Last Tuesday week he got the chance to demonstrate his powers,
He shot one Jer-ry aircraft down and eighty two of ours At Much Binding in the Marsh ( Cheerio, folks)
At Much Binding in the Marsh ( See you later)

No, those plastic Tigers at 1/24 scale would be way to large for K & C 1/30 figures. A better idea would be to buy the new Desert Tiger, get em while you can

Thanks OzDigger :)
You just saved me £60.00:D
going to spend the money on K&C market Garden jeep & trailer instead

People sometimes start a business to be their own boss, but sooner or later they discover that their customers are their boss. If they don't have happy customers their company eventually fails.

Owner(s) of a company that make collectables would be very foolish not to consider the wants and desires of their customers. And Andy has said he does take note of our suggestions - some more than others I suspect ;)

And as you say, it is his company, albeit in partnership. Therefore he certainly does have the right to produce what he wants to. However he, and his dealers to some degree, also miss out on sales when he gets things wrong.

:) Hello UK Subs! OK, this VS Company does Make NON-R/C Tiger Tanks also! If you Press Down on the Tiger tank, it has a Spring Supension, and it would go down Lower to meet the 1/30th Standards of Toy Soldier Figures! Please show, the DESERT Tiger, and the EARLY Camouflage Waffen SS, if you can! I'm having a little Bit of Trouble putting My Personal Collection on this forum, at this time ! I will Post Photo's with My Afrika Korps Soldier Figure's, that I have work on for the past 6-Months ; they are 1/25th sale! But, also this Company, is making a SHERMAN, and FIREFLY , and did Mentioned a T-34 Tank! They are 1/24th Scale, but Andy's New Tunisan Tiger , should be exact Size compared with this VS Tank, by Toyeast Company! But, I will also Buy K & C Tunisian Tiger for Collectabile Value! Andy's Tanks in the Past was Larger than 1/30th scale!CIAO!

Two Collectors Series Vs 1/24 tiger tanks

I checked out these RC tanks and as you would expect they are basically toys, so one would be enough for a bit of fun. If you check the RC section of eBay you should be able to get one of them cheap if you don't already have one.
