Hi mate, thanks for your very kind message I do appreciate it. I feel much more relaxed and I am told it will help my eye so that's good.

I have had a very nice K&C windfall, my inlays went to the Us and brought me back six sets (I am a lucky boy!!) including Bulge gun , truck and figures so am busy unwrapping them now...it's like an early christmas!!

I was with 2 Royal Canadian Reg then.There was only 1 shot of me and it was my back.Some good shots of me in the 2004 Tattoo.Right now I have maybe 40 VHS tapes from all the different tattoos my father gave me.One you should check for on youtube is Fort Henery Sunset..Sorry about your dogs.Its hard they are almost like your children.

Great stuff.I wish I could spend a week in Edinburgh.I love everything about that city,playing in the Tattoo was a dream come true for me.I`ll have to try and find the show the BBC puts on.Right now we are going to a second vet just in case he really doesn`t need it.He s like a little boy hard to get him to slow down.

Hi Craig.
How are things with you?I`m on leave right now until Monday(3 weeks off).My wife gave me a really good book Armies of the Napoleonic Wars.Great for painting the uniforms and I order acouple of Britians and golf shoes from my kids.Things will slow down for me as one of the dogs needs an operation that will cost me around $1400.00.So I had to take a second job,the poor guy is only 2 years old.I have to keep saying that or my wife will put me outside to live.Not much else going on here great summer weather wise kids all the time.

Well right now I have 2 home with the S FLU.Great stuff It kicks the crap out of you.Both my wife and oldest daughter do nothing but sleep the last 8 days.So really I`ve done nothing but look after them the last 8 days.Tomorrows a big day we have a parade in Dartmouth NS then off to the Legion.I hope to get the house back to normal if you can say that with 3 dogs and 2 kids by the weekend.Almost finish my RSDG Military Band.Take Care

my main interest is WW1 , specifically the premier range

in the pics the soldiers are split by nationality , although i changed that on sunday

top shelf = medical shelf ... and is the highest to remind me war involves death and suffering

the next shelf is my king and all the ceremonial pieces (redcoats etc)

i have then split the soldiers into similar themes , eg one shelf now has the british and german trench sets , and the german and french raiding parties

other shelves are based on regiments , such as horse artillery and cavalry

I think i now have around 56 sets , will take more pics to send you
