So We exceded the 5,000 visits! I would like to thank the Academy for giving me this award.....er...ah sorry wrong speech. I am getting better all of the time. It did not kill me so I guess it made me stronger. I have pain around the surgery areas for the most part. Some pain in my eyes. The subduralhematoma caused pressure on the third optic nerve. Normal stuff. The eye sight is much improved. The pain I can endure though it is a pain. So I would like to add here that I am grateful to all of you my friends on this forum. I am grateful to God for the miraculous recovery. The Dr.s did not expect me to recover as fast as I have. They thought 6 monthes before I could walk with assistance. I really am glad I did not hear that.

This is the second part of my message. I am so thankful that I can see as well as I do. It may seem weird to say but I am grateful for the coma that I was in . I might not have pulled through if I had known what was going on. I am also thankful for my family and the girlfriend who sat with me and kept me company. Even when I was in the coma. My sister and Nancy alternately cheered and yelled at the hospital staff depending on what was needed .They are both terriffic. I can not thank either of them enough. I will continue to be the best Michael I can be.

Belated Happy Birthday wishes mate. I am sorry I missed it entirely. The Spartans are great, as I posted in the Conte thread. I do think you should do that book. I have long said that only those who do not want it should be considered for the job. The next four years will be move evidence of that.

OMG I am so close to 5000 views. I do not know why but I am pleased as punch. This hobby has been a godsend to me. As is this forum. I feel like you guys care so keep in touch. Thanks KV.

Hi guys! It is my birthday today. Preempted by the news of B O becoming president today. I was looking forward to a day of parades. Guess I will just watch the TV and goof off. Have you guys checked out the # of visits? I am almost to 5,000!
I am getting better. Still have aways to go before working again. Though I would like to get going now. Money uncertainties are always scary. Shipped a consignment of 28 Spartans. That was a lot of the same guys. Looking forward to new projects, so do not be shy.
For awhile I have been toying with an idea of a book called "The Reluctant President" The story is about Collin Powell who wakes up to a phone call informing him that he will be the 45th President. Laws are changed, the American populace tired of disapointment elect their own candidate. The reason he is chosen? He does not want the job.
So what do you think ? Does that sound interesting? Should I write the book?
