    Hey Nasir,

Yes i'm glad too my friend.I have also been squeezed a bit but hopefully will carry on collecting as normal.I aim to get the AK Gun and Stug at the show in London in four weeks time.I am also saving like crazy for June/July dispatches as i believe we are in for a D Day treat!.

Also hope Figarti are not too long in releasing that MkIV as it looks cool.

    Cheers mate

    Hi mate,

I'm fine over here Nasir, hope you are well mate and all is good with you and your loved ones too.No problem at all Nasir, and no misunderstanding between us.Whatever was happening during the mutiny on either side it was still a barbaric death for anyone.History can be pretty ugly sometimes can't it?!.

Do hope the economic squeeze is not hitting you too hard mate, its certainly making me think about my purchases more carefully.Great to hear from you

    All the best
    Rob
Things seem pretty tough everywhere these days:(...at least this hobby provides a distraction for me:). I'll probably go ahead and get the command vehicle for the V-2...it's a pretty unique piece. Good luck with the Figarti Panzer you're trying to get. As for dios, I'm working on a Nap set-up right now.
It's going to be quite large and I still haven't figured out how I'm going to do the base for it:confused:. I think I may do it in sections. At any rate I need to get on the ball and take some more shots of my collections and add them to my albums.

    Cheers,

    Ken
    Hi Nasir,

Been a while since I've had a chance to catch up. How are things on your side of the planet? Have you made any new acquisitions?

My wife surprised me with some K&C Field of Battle Brits for my B-Day...but no Crusader:(...so I went out and bought one for myself:D. My usual TS dealer has come up with one of the camo pattern Figarti V2s so I'll be getting my first Figarti set in a few weeks. If it's as good as the pics I might start picking up some additional armor from them. As I recall you had the V2...did you get the command vehicle as well...if so what was your opinion of it?

    Cheers,

    Saber
    Hi Nasir,

How are things with you? What are your latest toy soldier aquisition plans? As for myself I just received the K&C German Elephant SP and the 8th Army mine detector set. I'm counting on the spousal unit to aquire the British ambulance and crusader tank for Xmas/b-day coming up.

I am seriously considering getting that Figarti K5 rail gun if I can figure out where to display it. What's your opinion on it? I've waited forever for someone to do a piece like that and I'm afraid if I don't grab it it will be a long long time before I ever see one again:(.

    Cheers, Ken
I'm hoping for some British armour,we need one of the other suppliers to start producing theseTanks.Maybe a Matilda or Churchill?
    Hi mate,

This month i'd like the new 250 but i'm waiting to see whats being retired first. How about you Nasir?

    Rob
Well, my focus now is... being out of focus...:D. No really, my main focuses now are WWI, Napoleonics and French and Indian War, mostly in gloss because one has to make choices:eek:. I mostly set my eyes on Britains ( New gloss ), Little Legion, Alexanders nap cavalry, Tradition and Imperial ( these harder to get here in Europe ). I sometimes get ACW, Colonial or British India items, but these I would now call secondary stuff. It's more than enough to get me in trouble, though...:D

    Cheers,
    Paulo
I have some of the older Bulge K&C figures ( check my albums ). To me they are some of the best figures K&C has ever done. But my sights are now somewhere else, I am done with WWII for the moment...
I've slowed down a bit this month as the Australian dollar dropped from about 97 to 78 US cents in teh space of about six weeks, but it's now 84.5 and seems to be climbing, which helps! Also kind of waiting to see what comes out of OTSN. I have some back-filling to do on all the ranges I collect. The "returning fire" FJ set, the Crusader and tank riders are probably the top tier priorities at the moment.

I like the King Tiger too!
Many thanks, how are you? I am waiting for some toy soldier gifts that are now coming my way:D.

    Regards,
    Paulo
One of the things I enjoy about the 8th Army range from K&C is the Empire troops - two Australian sets, Kiwi dingo, Kiwi LRDG, Sikh Vickers crew and (of course, the Scots).

Japanese WW2 are something I wouldn't collect either.
Early war fallschirmjagers (Crete!) and North Africa - largely due to family history - mostly K & C, with some Collector's Showcase, Britains, Figarti, Forces of Valor (the two Matilda tanks) a tiny bit of Forward March and some Imperial. Dad's dad was 6th Division AIF, which meant some time in North Africa (largely pre-Rommel), mainland Greece, Crete for Operation Mercury, then New Guniea when the Japanese were coming through. I also collect models of the Vultee Vengeance aircraft - mum's dad flew one of those against the Japanese in New Guinea in mid '44.

    What's your focus Nasir?
    Hi Nasir

Thanks for your very kind request - nice to have someone in the same time zone!

    Todd
    Hello Nasir,
Just realised that you are also from Singapore and collect toy soldiers.
