Yea - space is starting to be a problem here as well. Looking forward to the new Napoleon SL Set and see what else might pop up from Andy.
Sounds like you have some expensive purchases coming up with the Figarti sets. I think they do fantastic work, I just haven't purchased any of their pieces since I don't really see where it would fit within my collection. Am hoping to buy some of their modern Iraq war pieces. They are pretty cool- still want to see them first- only seen online pictures.
Not much here,on vacation in Toronto.Made a trip through the US and had a chance to visit the Lake George area.Thats where alot of the FIW were fought. That area is famous for the movie the Last of the Mohicans.Plus a visit to Fort Ticonderoga. Some toy soldiers bought. So far I`ve had a chance to visit 4 stores but 2 where not open(1 more to go on Fri). How about you?
    Cheers

Yep, it looks like Greece should be great fun, really starting to look forward it now as I'm going in just over two weeks!

I think some of the Figarti stuff looks very interesting - I particularly like the Vietnam figures they do as it's a period that's always fascinated me, and the relevant K&C figures were retired long before I ever even heard of the hobby. Again, for much the same reason, some of their current-day Iraq War line has always grabbed m attention. For the moment anyway, I'll have to remain with K&C, not neccessarily because I don't think some of the other manufacturers have very good offerings, but because dipping into other companies would probably kill my already very over-stretched budget!!

As to my favourite periods, seemingly like most people on the forum, there's very few aspects to military history that don't interest me to some extent, but if pushed, I'd say that Napoleonics and the Second World War would be my main areas of enthusiasm!

How about yourself, I already know you're quite a big WWII man - which theatres and campaigns within that interest you in particular??
I don't collect Napoleonics but that tent set looks very good. You won't be sorry with the Figarti V Weapons, they are superb.Cheers

Hey bud- depending on what KC retires this month, I am going to get either WS73 (?) the SPG or the latest retired German motocycle set- WS80 I think it was. Last month, I got 3 AWI colonial riflemen and a St. Pete Roman Figure. How about you??
Hi mate,i'm fine hope you are too.My next purchases will be i think the FJ guy with the Tommy prisoner,i also want the two officers from the Arnhem range, one pointing the other map reading. As for vehicles i'm trying to decide between the new Crusader,Bedford Ambulance or Bedford truck. Its never easy to decide!.How about you, whats your next purchase?.

    Cheers

    Hey Nasir

Thanks for the kind words and the invite. Little Andrew is doing quite well. I am very impressed by your knowledge of German Armor. You seem quite well advised on the topic. Look forward to hearing more.
At the moment civl war artillery pieces. The Britains cassion and limber sets from 2003. unfortunately I don't own either of them. Favorite set I own is ONTC Loomis Battery set. I think Figarti's rocket sets are great but I don't collect WWII. I still think you are making a wise decision, you may one day have the space to display them and I think they will defintely be some of the rarest of the rare sets.
Heya Nasir, thanks a million for the invite mate!

I'm great, how about yourself?? Struggling through an Irish summer here (ie. one day without rain out of every dozen or so!).

Haven't made any big purchases at all recently, apart from two pieces from Britain's matte Zulu War range, just to test the water so to speak - I was very impressed though, got one each from the 24th Foot and from the Zulu hordes.

Mrs. Molloy is over in Greece for six weeks at the moment - I'm saving up to join her there at the start of August, so beacause of that, the toy soldier budget has taken a bit of a hiding this month! However, I will admit to my mind turning to World War Two again after a bit of an absence, with K&C's Normandy Germans finally being released - really, really like the look of those guys!!

How about yourself - what's grabbing your collecting attention at the moment??
I'm good Nasir. Actually I am in the midst of a buying drought, Ebay has had little to nothing to offer and when it does it goes high as heck. So I am just kicking back and working on some scenic pieces. And you?
    Hi Nasir
I am a big Bok fan. It is usually the All Blacks who beat us. Today we made history by beating them in Dunnedin. It is always a close match when the Boks play the All Blacks
I am looking forward to the Collectros Showcase Tiger. I ave pre-ordered teh winter one.
    Regards
    Damian
