N.F.L. 24-25 Season (11 Viewers)

I actually didn’t get all the words and you didn’t have to know the words to appreciate the show. I’m not all that familiar with his music but he’s very popular worldwide and I’m sure a lot of people don’t understand what he’s saying. It was the same in the 60s where rock was popular worldwide but not everyone understood the lyrics.
Good to know he's wildly popular worldwide by people who don't understand a word he's saying.

Not a bad prediction. The thing about luck is that it always runs out. No knock on the Pats. They played the schedule they were given but they caught a ton of breaks this season. Maye is a decent QB but he came within one vote of the MVP when he should not have sniffed it. His O-line was terrible tonight and "First Round" Vrabel gave him no help but Maye stunk. I apologize to Grogan for the comparison. One of the worst offensive performances in SB history. It's not often that a team gets to lose the SB, MVP, and have their franchise coach and owner blackballed from the HOF in the same week.
You really should start a "Patriots hater" club, you're the king of pooting on the Patriots.

Maye had to be shot up before the game, he said afterward he couldn't feel his arm, he was harassed all game long, but even when he had a clean pocket, he was missing throws that he made all year long.

Explain to me like I'm 5 how he was not an MVP candidate, his completion percentage this year was off the charts, he was hurt in the Houston game, he was off vs Denver with his throws, his shoulder is toast.

And the coach you continually take a dump on by calling him "First Round" Vrabel took a team with 30 new players to the SB, first time that has ever happened, he was also voted by the NFL as coach of the year, he also got to the AFCCG previously with the Titans, so he's far from "First Round" anything.

But you just keep being you.

Yeah great, too bad it wasn't in English so that those who didn't live Uruguay like you did could understand what he was singing.
I tried to keep an open mind, but it came off as random noise. I only recognized it as music to the extent that it was loud and people were dancing. Quite bizarre. It was like a travel advertisement for Puerto Rico. And what is with the grievance culture and underlying anti-US resentment? Is someone oppressing Puerto Rico? Last time I checked the US sends billions with a "b" there. The place would be a smoldering hole without the US money flowing into it. We gave tens of billions after the hurricane. Instead of gratitude there is resentment. And the NFL enables it with its endless greed. That is my last and hopefully final thought ever given to the halftime or this guy. My summary - the game sucked, the halftime show sucked, and most of the ads sucked.

At the end of the day, one random group of guys beat another. No one's life is any different. Onward.

Onward is right, that game is already in my rear view mirror, Sam "Sidecar" Darnold wins a Super Bowl, great, good for that stiff, joins Dilfer and Johnson as a hack who walked into a Super Bowl win.

Seattle (gee, what a shock), Rams, Bills (really?), Iggles and Patriots are the top five betting odds to get to Super Bowl 61.

Ok, was traveling til after halftime so only saw last quarter and a half.....................................DUD. That said, remember what I said all season long (regardless of who was playing or I was in favor of), the NFL product on the field STINKS. It did so for most of the year until a few playoff games. But the majority and I know its my opinion, sucked. As much as I screamed about some of the unfairness of College FB playoffs (which have gotten worse BTW), I still would take nearly all college games as more entertaining than the NFL. I am really getting over it.

As to the halftime shows, I was with a client today whose family is from Panama - she filled me in. She is a Bunny fan having seen him in concert which she said is highly entertaining, however, she was not an entire fan of last nights performance. She said the audio was not great, cut out on certain parts, the choreography was off in her opinion and the performances were disjointed with Gaga and Ricky Martin. NOW - I have only seen snippets and I am more ambivalent b/c I am not really a huge fan of that genre of music although I do like bits and pieces. The sad thing about this whole ordeal is the level of discussion it caused which in the end is completely meaningless as it will change nothing, do nothing and just a bunch of people sounding off either way.

One and only highlight for me was Seahawks Byron Murphy - Former Longhorn, had a great game - HOOK EM!

Supposed to be a football game, IMO, ended up a boring spectacle of crap on all fronts. The NFL product still stinks IMO. Game was much like most of the season - a bore.

From what I read today in the Times from the music critics, the Lady Gaga appearance seemed a bit incongruous, not really fitting in. Have never listened to his music until this weekend and then listened to a couple of songs today. Very danceable. As I said previously I thought the show was very entertaining and a fun watch. I can imagine that attending one of his concerts would be a lot of fun.

It’s too bad the football wasn’t as good.

Anyway onto next season.
