Hi Guys,
Following the recent releases of a pair of Hawker Hurricanes in the markings of Royal Air Force ‘Aces’ Douglas Bader and Bob Stanford-Tuck K&C has another upcoming set of 4 running fighter pilots racing for their aircraft that we are calling… “Battle of Britain Scramble!”
This latest addition to our RAF Fighter Command Collection also includes a running Border Collie called ‘Daisy’ which we are calling the 'squadron mascot'.
During WW2 many RAF fighter and bomber squadrons had animal mascots with dogs of all breeds, sizes and dispositions being the most popular.
As a dog lover myself I’m proud to be the owner of several dogs (mostly mutts) with one of my four-footed friends being a little, very energetic, Border Collie called… “Daisy”.
So, there you have it… All the best and happy collecting!
Andy
P.S. This particular RAF set will be among our MARCH releases.
