    New Custer Figures

eborris - Glad you made it to the show. I have not seen the figures, but as I mentioned I did buy the Shot Down figure. To me that trooper is smaller than Britains 54mm figures. Since, you bought the four figures available can you comment on how they compare in size to other makers of 54mm...

    Are you a Multi-Manufacturer Collector?

Great Question and answers have been interesting to read. Replies are not dominated by vocal WWII collectors. I do multi-manufactures, all lead/metal, except some plastics for the younger kids. K&C is currently my favorite manufacturer. Andy is a phenom for participating in this forum the way...

Are Naps AWI a minor lines?

Does the POLL want to know what each voter likes most????? To me it is obvious by what is sold that WWII is the most popular. But WWII is about my fourth favorite behind Alamo, Western/Custer, American Civil War. If you want to now what we would like to buy most, may I suggust expanding the...

Publius Syrus P.S. "and sometimes worth more"

I like the quote from Publius Syrus that "everything is worth what its purchaser will pay for it." Just wanted to add a post script "that sometimes the prize is worth more than the price". Last week I found a Buy It Now for $499.00 listing a collection of fourteen different "like-new" and...

Upcoming Lines and A Few Other Bits 'n Bobs

Carlos - I am with you on the WWII Pacific War Sets. I wonder if the Japanese Market or collectors of Japanese ancestry would increase the demand for the series if it wasn't called Iwo Jima? I am not being critical of the Iwo Jima name - I love it!!! It is just that the Pacific was much more...

Buildings and Voice of the Customer

Kurt - I agree. I too hope K&C does more buildings and Scenic Pieces. I missed out on the Iwo Jima Scenic Piece (base) but I did buy the Roman Fort and it is awesome, although it is so large, I have never displayed it.

    New Custer Figures

Hey Custer fans - I received Blackhawk's "Shot Down Trooper" today from MTSC. I have other Andrea figures and this is a very nice piece, (the facial expression is actually great; it actually looks like "I've got you in my sights Injun"), however the soldier appears to be more like 50mm scale...

    K&C Humvee

Thanks for clearing that up - I'm in Ft. Worth and Civilian. Boyer, PFC was my Grand dad who served in WWII, I was named after him and like to honor his memory, by using his name and rank.

    K&C Humvee

KingToot - I bought SF01, SF02, SF03 and SF11 when they first came out. Last I saw SF03 on Ebay it sold for ask of $450.00 - WOW! I would probably only trade for the Iwo Jima base and various figures from The West, that I missed out on.
