Hi Steve! I thought that your diorama would certainly look better, if you have used a real sand on the ground or a special diorama accessories that represent real sand, so you could hide the bases of the figures, the colour of which differs from the ground so much.

Isn't the british officer from the Revolutionary War period? It's sort of strange to see him in FIW diorama.
