Very Nice ! The Britains Deetail stuff is...
The VW came from a 'dollar' shop in Sydney, Australia. It's just a relatively cheap thing that happened to be 1/32 scale - I have given it a bit of a paint job to fit with the other vehicles. The Hanomags are all vintage Airfix from the 70's - 80's. Picked them up on ebay or at shows but pretty...
wow, these really are great, very detailed. I came into painting/collecting as a total novice so some of my earlier stuff is a little naive but your pictures have inspired me to maybe rework some of these early efforts.
Thought you might like to see these pictures. This is the battle ground set from the 1980's. I re purchased it fairly recently as my original one was long gone - it is a great set up and after a bit of paint and flocking, intergrates well into any diorama scene.
Final pictures - Airfix 1/32 mostly vintage, hand painted using vallejo paints. Wonder how many more of these sets might one day return.
Apparently the SAS set being reissued is nearer 1/35 scale ?
In spirit of the reissues, I thought I would put up some of my 1/32 Airfix sets - some vintage, some reissue. All hand painted using Vallejo paints.
First up the allies . . .
