    Civilian or Military?

I would prefer military. A new line would be fantastic - or new sets under existing lines. But Boer Wars or Indian Regt would be fantastic as well. It would be nice for anything new from Imperial really - maybe a brand new Heirloom Set.

Tower Of London Exclusive - can anyone shed if this was issued a Catalogue Number?

Hi Yes - 100% Britains - Marked on Base - Made in China. Thats why I was wondering if anyone knew anything, as I had looked thru the Britains books and on this site and not ever come across this figure. They were sold singly, in the gift shop at the Tower of London itself - so assumed it must...

70th Anniversary today for the Battle of Crete

For 12 days from 20 May 1941, New Zealand, British, Australian and Greek troops tried to repel a massive airborne assault by Germans forces. 2,000 Kiwi soldiers were taken prisoner during the battle, and 671 died. Many New Zealanders made it off Crete, but thousands were left behind. Among those...

    My Favourite New Imperial Set

Hi I ordered several sets in January this year - and got them this week. So Imperial is still operating and plodding along, so to speak. I don't mind the wait, as the figures are always so worthwhile. I ordered by email - and they called me when the sets were ready. Heres a photo of the 2nd...

Conte Plastic Vikings/Normans etal - How Best to Paint them?

I have a numbe rof these figures, and I wish to paint them - maybe in a gloss style. But I have found, using Humbrol, that the paint remains sticky for what seems like a long time...days! Multiple Figure Sets

I think you've hit a nail on the head - I agree that sets of glossy figures are brilliant. It was not that long along that Britians did issue these...... Luckily others have that niche now - WM Hocker, Imperial...........But I would buy Britains glossy sets if issued.

Britains Set 2094 (or 9402) State Open Road Landau Value Inquiry

Its a pretty subjective arguement - as it'll be worth what ever someone wishes to spend on that day. I was able to get a boxed example several years ago for $NZ300.....which was a pretty **** good bargain.
