    Competition time!

Competition time. 1) The name of the designer was Waldemar Voigt. 2) The year the aircraft entered service was 1944 3) I would like to see the Fieseler Fi103R Reichenburg which was a manned version of the flying V1 bomb. It was tested by the female Hanna Reitsch and dramatised in the film...

    Slow down boys

I note any item from the Russian Federation is no cheaper despite their economy crash. And if you don’t get it anyway it’s a double whammy. Mad times we live in.

    I need a dog.

Hi. If you study portrait photos of B company taken after the action Pip is clearly visible. You may be aware he was Goodwyn- Austen’s dog. He of course was killed at isandlwana and had asked Reynolds the Surgeon to look after Pip for a while. King and Country do a set of small dogs, one of them...

No Time To Die - James Bond

Best ever Le Carre Tinker,Tailor, BBC adaptation with Alec Guinness as George Smiley. Compelling and subtle. Makes the film with Gary Oldman look like a box of bolloxcks.

No Time To Die - James Bond

Not seen it, but am surprised at the general thumbs down because in the UK it seems to get rave reviews, which I suppose is hype. I have a theory that that Connery was too big in the role for the producers liking ,giving him too much clout. He was known to be quite a difficult bloke to deal...

    Red Army

At the risk of becoming a bore they (FL) are little works of art. They are also meticulously researched. Russian websites often offer incorrect or scant detail which is a problem if you want to sell the figure on.

    Red Army

It seems FL have upped their game with quality and price. The new Algerian and 30 years war gun team Stalingrad Russians ect are outstanding. To me they actually look like real people. With all the crap going on at the moment surely they have done well and all of us overgrown schoolboys would be...

    Broken musket.

As suggested already a dowel is the best way. A Dremmel drill with a fine bit and a pin with glue. If you have no one who could assist you Gorilla glue is the best option. Also Tradition of London have spare 54mm muskets unpainted from kits. Good luck.

Wanted King and Country The real west

Forgive me if I am missing something but they are all available direct from King and Country direct (king and country.com). The price is OK and they ship to Europe. Magpie on EBay has some also but a bit more expensive. Regards.
