This is a very welcome addition to the previous US Airborne releases. These LMG were such an important element of the Airborne platoon's firepower that you can't have a good display of paratroops without one. Well done Matt! Noah

Great stuff here! First Legion has done an excellent job with this release. Not only does the set look amazing, but collectors have great flexibility in matching their budget with display considerations. I think the decision by FL to release these pieces individually is a sound one. Noah

Mitch is right on with his answer in the previous post. Basically, from 1943 to the end of the war, the low ankle boots were the norm. Some men might have been able to keep a pair of the stereotypical black boots in use, but not very many. Noah
