THANKS guys. Below are some updates on my scratch built project. The cobblestones are not as detailed as I normally create them because most will be covered with snow. I should be finished tweaking this diorama within two weeks. Once it's in the museum there will be additional photos taken and...
It's been a while since I posted due to being very busy building for the late BSP web site but now that I'm free from it, I can do whatever I like.
I'm building a large WWII Bulge diorama scene for a museum in NJ. I will be posting photos from (almost) the start of the project.

I went to Walmart one day and bought a 2x3 foot white bathroom rug for $19.99 and dyed it a green color. It came out very good.
The rug grass is tall but you can cut it down wherever it needs it.
Here is the sandpaper roof which I recently finished on a 1:32/ 1:30 scale Building.
The individual shingles can be lifted slightly to make them look more realistic.

Mike, I"ll take a photo of the finished roof soon and post it. Not sure of the grit, it is a fine sand paper and I used the last of it on the roof so I couldn't look on the back of the paper to see the grade. I bought a bunch of assorted sandpaper at a dollar store a while back. Talk to you...
Looks good Mike. I like to use 1/2 scale products when I can. They go well with 1:32 and 1:30 scale.
I just recently put a new roof on a scratch made building and used sand paper. Try it, you'll like it but you'll have to measure and cut them out.
Stay well my friend.

Excellent Tim!
I don't get on this Forum too much anymore because I'm on 20 plus other Forums so that takes time away from here.
I always liked your artistry and creativity. Keep up the great work and stay in touch.
Stay well my friend.

Any scale from 1:72 to 1:6th scales are good.
Thanks for your interest.
