Reading this thread has been interesting. I hadn't paid attention before to the layout of the Union Jack. Also equally surprising is that when I googled the Union Jack in the Napoleonic Wars I found this article on the only surviving Union Jack from the Battle of Trafalgar. It actually looks...
Quick question which probably has an obvious answer but why the lighter shade of blue on the Union Jack compared to the darker shades on the foot guards and Scots releases?
My Roman FL Tribune perfectly blends in with Kronprinz Romans. I'd post a picture if someone could give me a quick primer on how to do that.
I'd say the FL Napoleonics I have don't quite match with Kronprinz quite as well but they are pretty darn close.
I echo this. George has great customer service. I've ordered 20+ of Emilio's miniatures from him. George is very conscientious about customer service. One note - Kronprinz packaging is not quite on par with the larger manufacturers, so expect to readjust some rifles etc. That said, I've...
Gebhard or anyone else who has a few Kronprinz minis - can you post a picture comparing the size to a K&C miniature and a FL miniature? Also, what is the packaging like for the miniatures and how are the paint applications in comparison to King & Country which is similar in price.

However, it is puzzling. It lists Cold Harbor which was fought in 1864, a year after Gettysburg, but the flag in the Alabama archives from the 13th...
I think the FDR/Churchill/Stalin set is a great idea but the execution seems poor. I too think FDR and Churchill are very lacking. Stalin looks good but FDR looks a bit clownish and Churchill does look like Gorbachev.
Thanks for the warm welcome. I'll definitely try out the Russians in the near future.
I really like the 18th infantry standard bearer but I think the detached wrist rubbed a bit on the nose of the figure during shipping. I touched it up with some dry brushing (I paint minis on the side) but...
Thanks for posting this - I've just starting buying FL and was looking at the Russians finally and they looked amazing. I hadn't been interested in the Russians at all but the posing and colors of the Grenadiers really caught my eye!
The picture is just representative of multiple companies. Like the Brits, in real life, the companies would be spaced out with the possibility of the Voltigeurs being dispersed and acting as skirmishers in front of the line infantry. Grenadiers and Voltigeurs (or Grenadiers and Lights for the...
