Just received my first Kronprinz Soldiers - some Hessian-Darmstadt soldiers of course :wink2:

All I can say is WOW {sm3} !!!

Really nice casting and very good paint job. The figures are a bit smaller compared to KC. But from the quality they're almost equal IMO. For the price of the figures you're getting TOP quality. Highly recommended!

I'm hoping that there'll be more figures within the already existing ranges coming out. Some more action sceens would be great - just as Emilio has done it with the Lützow Freikorps series.

Well done Emilio!

And I think there should be a seperate folder here for Kronprinz. :smile2:

@Emilio: Any chance for getting some action scenes for your roman series?

Thanks
Oliver

Sorry for the low quality pictures (iphone3 cam)

Here is the Kronprinz NP253:

Hello Oliver
Thanks for your kindly words. We are making the first steps in several new series (thirty years war and Us cavalry in the plains etc), and now we were modelling more napoleonic units in action poses .More action romans will be ready in the next months , and roman camp life figures. We were also sudying the way to produce accesories as camp tents, and even vehicles (in resin). I have modeled yet some motorbikes for both world wars(BSA, NSU ,BMW ,Ruger, etc ) , now only have to medel the bikers to put it in our catalogue.

We want to complete all our series, only time is needed.

regards

Emilio

Contact us at rsm@@toysoldiertoronto.com if you would like some! Kronprinz figures are nice!! zee Germans are soemthing to behold as well!

Hi Gebhard, please post pictures of your Lutzowers. I like to see them in action {sm3}

Danke und Grüße,
Oliver

I'm going to make my first Kronprinz order. There's quite vast selection on ebay, and I have been enjoying looking at all the pics. I think I'm going w/ a Roman or two for my initial order.

Hi Joe ,
Not to be a commercial for George at Minutemen TS's but if your in the states he is the smart choice for Kronprinz no ebay fees for Kronprinz and you have em in a few days and no International shipping fees as well not to mention George is a Great guy to deal with . . Regards Gebhard

I'm not a Nap collector but I do collect ACW and their Confiderate Artillery team is at least the equal to KC.

Thanks for the info Gebhard, but Minutemen do not appear to be carrying the entire Kronprinz catalog, at least for the time being. I see ACW, Napoleonics, and Seven Years War there but no Romans. Romans are the ones I'm most interested in. I'm considering WWII as well but do not see these on Minutemen's site either.

We have a "Hockey Sock Full" of kronprinz, and we can price match. We were intending to debut this line at last years Chicago show but the items showed up the day after the show ended- We were Crushed! We only had two small samples- now we have a healthy Selection!
Carlos bought his Artillery from us .

Shipping discounts too!

Grant,
Thank you for the info. I will definitely check it out.

Gebhard or anyone else who has a few Kronprinz minis - can you post a picture comparing the size to a K&C miniature and a FL miniature? Also, what is the packaging like for the miniatures and how are the paint applications in comparison to King & Country which is similar in price.

no Comparison in painting- completly different style these figures would look like they are actually breathing compared to others.

As far as the packaging; the figures come in a white box with foam wrapped around the figure, there is a picture of the figure on the outside of the box as well.

Joe

I have most of the Napoleonics, ACW and SYW codes in stock, ready to ship.

I will be adding all the rest of the codes asap, including the Romans; the Roman code stock levels, like
Rome itself, was not built (up) in a day.....................:wink2:

Thanks. How do they compare in size to other lines?

The pictures I've posted in this thread (page 1) shows a Kronprinz Hessen-Darmstadt (Napoleons line) next to a Hessen Soldier from the K&C AWI line.
