    LOD Trojan War information

Yes, but the Roman poet Virgil wrote the Aeneid. This tale involved Trojans leaving after the sack of Troy and crossing to Italy and founding the city of Rome. Here is a link for a quick plot overview: https://www.sparknotes.com/lit/aeneid/summary/ This ties together the history of the...

Expeditionary Force War in the Pacific range

Oh yeah, if these are actually going to be 54mm and usable with other makers, this is really great news. As opposed to the WWII US/Germans that were released previously. {sm2} Sculpts look great.

    Urfin Jus WWI British

I really didn't think the poses were all that bad. Given that I like painting my plastic guys, I would love to give them a go. That being said, the price is just flat-out prohibitive. I can't justify spending that for five figures with two kids in college, medical bills, etc. It's a shame...

    Kilted AWI and ACW?

I believe the OP was for kilt-wearing troops from the Am Rev or Civil War, not "killed" figures. Just clarifying. If I'm mistaken, sorry about that.

    ATS Revolutionary War Toy Soldiers

I ordered a set of these when Al released them. Wonderful figures. I always had hoped he would do a set of Brits as opponents as the sculpting was quite dynamic overall.

    BMC Toys

I had heard a number of years ago that Bill had approached King and County about adapting some of the Battle of the Bulge range for a plastic playset. That would have been fantastic and would still be something to see. I feel it would sell well with collectors and if the price point was still...

Airfix 1/32 Indian Army.... conversions of course!

Great work on these figures. Love the idea and may have to try my hand at adding to my desert forces. Very cool!

    Pvblivs: the Hundred Year's War

Bingo. What Bid Kahuna said. These sets are cool, but I've not got that kind of budget for toy soldiers. It is more imperative to take care of the bills first. Just too much for a hobby. The sets from Nick at TSSD and CTS are much more in line with reality.

    XVII century pikemen and artillery

These are from A Call to Arms, their English Civil War range.

Currently produced 1/32 Sets of Toy Soldiers by AIRFIX

Very nice work on these conversions. They really have the appearance of troops fighting in winter conditions. Cheers!

    Musings on future playsets.

I do like the idea of a Monte Cassino set, especially with some German paras and British/Commonwealth figs. As for the Hannibal set, I don't mean to be a "rivet-counter", but the Romans that Nick currently has are from the later imperial period in terms of armor and gear. The Hat sets show...

Anglo Zulu wars - same old stuff!

Great pics, really enjoy seeing large scale scenes with the various makers' figures battling it out. Colorful, dramatic and well put-together. Cheers, lad.

Your thoughts for next TSSD sets.

Given the nice work on WWII so far, I would suggest maybe the Desert campaign with Brits, Jerries and Italians, maybe Aussies, Indian troops, too?

Sounds like you are describing the Durham Industries Gray Ghost half track...

8 New Poses of Airfix & Pegasus WW2

Nice work, PG, the Airfix and Pegasus conversions are nice. I always like seeing the conversion possibilities that folks come up with. Really sparks my own creative efforts.

    * coming soon "new" 1:32 panzer iv/70 (v) tank destroyer

In myopinion (FWIW), this is exactly what the hobby needs to fill a niche. In-scale, all plastic vehicles that a collector can modify, paint, etc. or leave as is for getting down on the carpet with the kids? What is not to love?! Great idea. Hope it takes off for this maker. ^&grin
