Hi Guys,

On behalf of Mike, Gordon and myself a very big and sincere thanks for all of the kind and positive response to the new “Alamo” diorama and plastic figures.

Obviously, it’s impossible to please everyone and as surely as night follows day there will always be someone who, shall we say, prefers to adopt an alternative attitude.

However, as always thankyou once more and more details will follow in due course.

Adios for now!

Andy C.

That's one terrific diorama Andy and Gordon. The scene looks very realistic and the figures look great. I'm looking forward to seeing what's to come.

You will never please everyone..no matter what you do....but one thing we all know....you will read our...most times fantasies...and treat them with respect.....I do not collect K&C ...nor much of anything else...and I have had the odd dig at K&C ....but I do like the fact I can conmun with the "Big Boss" like everyone else on the forum....that I think is something rare and not fully appreciated by some...my respects...TomB

Hey Duke, If you make it back for the next Texas Show in May we can sip on some cold ones and gaze at this diorama for an hour or two :wink2:

Andy, Gordon and crew I think after seeing this massive Diorama in person many of us will be heartedly thanking You :salute::

One thing people have to remember is that the manufacturers can only do so much. With sculpting, then the molds, production, painting, shipping, dealers. All these people have to be paid and they all want a decent wage.

stop the monthly price increases that happen each month and I am sure more would be happy

Only on this Forum can people turn a thank you post into something else :rolleyes2:

I'm guessing for LAH, ACW ,Naps there will be lots possible in resin, but I wonder if there will be able to be much for combat WW2 figures? I mean if you took say the Commandos or D Day Brits/US figures and produced say standing firing, kneeling firing, grenade throw etc that might work? Buying those figs in say two or three's would be ok wouldn't it and would allow for bigger combat dio scenes. Question would be is that viable production wise?

Hi Guys,

Where would be without the ubiquitous Darren Mitchell and his pithy comments?

What a little ray of sunshine you are in all our lives... eh Mitch?

Best wishes,
Andy C.

Totally agree Brad and it's sad that people behave this way but I think 59 likes and counting on the Alamo display says it all!

I remember when I lived in the UK there was a comedy programme on the TV, unfortunately most of the guys on this forum might not get this but the main charactor was called Victor Meldrew, I think he has arrived on this forum.

Going back to the display, absolutly brillant :)

Rob,
Simple answer no. Cant see much requirement for people to buy multiples of WW2 combat poses compared to the pre 1900 era. With those eras or marching type some people can buy far more than 2 or 3. If K&C is looking to sell multiples then WW2 shooting guys can not compete with other periods.

Fair enough Brett, looks like I'll be sticking with the metal then:smile2:
