Hi Guys,

Me again! K&C just received our first flotilla of “SAND PEBBLE” gunboats from our mate Chris Munro of The AMERICAN MODEL DOCKYARD” in Cambria, California this morning.

All four ships arrived safe, sound and in fine “Bristol” fashion in Hong Kong. Each one carefully packed in its own hand-made wooden case and ready for display. Of the four we ordered two are already pre-sold to K&C collectors in Hong Kong, one is for Gordon to display in our HK store in Pacific Place and the remaining one ready to “sail out” at a moment’s notice.

To anyone who is considering one of these fine hand-built models I cannot recommend them highly enough… they are simply superb! Chris is a true artist and a great model ship builder.

To purchase direct from “The American Model Dockyard” simply contact Chris at 805-927-3804 or email him at soldiergallery@attt.net.

Thanks again… best wishes and… happy sailing!

Andy C.

I have looked on the site which section does it come under as I have not been able to see this ship or the price being charged?

Same here.

Would also like to know when the long awaited Chinese pirate junk and/or possible opposition for the San Pablo and USN/USMC range will be available? Would be nice to know what is in store so that I can start making some plans as to what to buy and how much room to set aside.

Here's a picture I took at the Chicago Toy Soldier Show of the San Pablo. If I'm not mistaken, the price tag on it was $3,000. While that seems high (if it is correct), it was without question the finest made item at the entire event.

Tag in the pic has $3,000. Too bad, one to many zeros for me. :( Beautiful model though. Would be the center piece of any collection.
