It's been a while since I've had the time available to do this type of shooting. This is part of a new K&C series I've started. Bill Muesing allowed me access to his shop
and collection of K&C soldiers. This image has 12 K&C "Big Red One" figures in it. Can you find them all?
Enjoy
Steve

Extraordinary job, very well done, it looks perfect! Congratulations! BTW, what is the origin of the photo you worked with?

The original photograph I found on the web. I think its a production still from "Saving Private Ryan". The hardest part was that the photograph was taken on such and overcast day it's hard to tell which way the shadows fall. I had to try and light the soldier to match the light in the original image so they would blend together. Once I had all the soldiers on the photograph I tried to match the color and tone of the soldiers in the background to the K&C figures in the foreground. The K&C figures almost disappeared when I did that because the tones are so monochromanic. I had to back off and leave more color in the K&C figures otherwise they wouldn't stand out at all.

Well done. A great picture. Good use of the technology to get everything to fit right.

Very nice,
Good to see the division patch I wore on both my shoulders.
