Guys,
Some intel for the number crunchers amongst you. Not to be confused with rivet counters. K&C gave us a huge range selection during the year of 2009. 310 different sets over a range of 33 series. What more could you ask of a Manufacturer.

You bored mate...............:D Yeah not bad hey from 1 company something for everyone.

Howard,

Interesting stats, pretty impressive when you break it all down. Cheers, Alby

When you see it like that makes you wonder why people say there is not enough coming out from manufacturers
Mitch

This just proves that there will always be something more to make.

Though when I see an American Revolution Hungarian Tank Commander or Air Force Officer, I'll know the limit has been reached...:D

Dude - any year is a good year to be getting King & Country stuff!

Figarti do make nice AFV's pricey but, nice but, do you agree that their figures let them down? The Panzer IV AK version for example or, the crew to the command and fire vehicle for the V2. Give you nightmares!!!!!
Mitch

Obviously something because I've been buying Figarti for the last 2 years

That's a little strong. Figarti have a different style when it comes to figures just as Honour Bound does. However, their tanks are second to none (IMHO, as well as many others).

Just being truthful IMO as I said their AFV's are nice but, the figures are not for me. I think HB figures are much better than they were but, nobody IMO does AFV's like HB
Mitch

Looking at these stats I'm surprised that so few figures were released for ranges that I would have thought were K&C's bread and butter. They definitely try to make a little something for everybody. Would you call that a broad front strategy? :)

I would not like to sit down and plan a year or so ahead and try to not only make interesting products but, also make sure that they appeal to a wide audience and, importantly, make money!

I think 310 sets is remarkable to say the least

Vick and Arnhem,
For your info.

MG sets details:
MG01, MG03 to 16 ---- Released Nov 07 ---- Nine retired
MG02, MG17 to 22 ---- Released Dec 07 ---- Two retired
MG23 to MG27 (Polish) ---- Released Oct 08
MG28 to MG32 ---- Released Apr 10

Cheers Howard

Then why post here................

I answered a question on a forum that I visit

I visit this forum because there is more happening here other than discussions of the last 18 disappointing months of releases.

If this were the "King & Country Fan Forum of the Last 18 Months of Glorious Releases", you would not see me.

If it weren't for Figarti & First Legion, I would have grown bored of this hobby already & left this site which would be unfortunate,

because,

I would miss a rare K&C release that I actually may want to purchase.

I am happy to answer any more questions.

Howard

You have way too much time on your hands - LOL

Although - very interesting information.

Cheers, Ron

Ron mate,
It is the old Statistician coming out in me. Just love K&C History. Just to keep you thinking K&C have released and about to release 2253 different sets in matte. So when you think about the 310 released in 2009 that is 13.76% of the total matte sets every released. And you as a mad Naps man would be happy to know that the 201 NAs (8.93% of total) is the largest series released. Even the 191 HK sets don't beat the Naps.
Hope that gives you something to ponder on.
Cheers Howard
