As a matter of fact, yes ..... and I'll have you know that thanks to the kind and gentle superbly well mannered and polite employees of the Royal Mail and USPS nearly all my parcels arrive in perfect shape ..... well some of them do ..... okay -okay, I think one of them did, aside from it being just a tiny bit damp. :rolleyes2:

Guys

What with the recent and endless appalling weather courtesy of Noah the main London rail line between Exeter and Tiverton has been washed out. Subsequently, First Western is using "hay tumbrels" to transport passengers between both stations. The TV pictures remind me of those old black & white refugee exodus newsreels out of WWII.

At the moment it's adding four hours to the journey from the West Country to the Capital-No one in authority (same old story) has any idea how long the repairs will take but knowing the speed FW repair engineers work at it'll be anything up to 2 months if we're lucky.

Therefore might not get to see you guys on Saturday unless I fly up from Newquay to Gatwick-but then again Cornwall is currently submerged under 3 feet of water and there ain't many Short S25 Sunderland Flying boat bombers down here in Atlantis.

Stay Dry guys as it's raining again as I write

Bob.

Sorry to hear that Bob.

Keep your chin up, after all that snow and ice two years ago, next year will be the turn of the the Great Plague.

Cheers

Reb, how about building a 1:1 scale model of a Mississippi stern wheeler? Trooper

Hey Bob,

Would be a real shame if you can't make it mate, but if you cannot be there we will convene again in March. Weather has been atrocious hasn't it, was down in Bournemouth over the weekend and it just never stopped raining all weekend. Still raining here now.

Best

Rob

Hi Rob,

I was in London this past 4 day weeked with the family and we really only had one bad day of rain so I felt pretty lucky especially when we were watching the news and saw the bad rain in UK Rebs area. Looking forward to my trip back this weekend and will see you there for a beer!
