Here are some overall pics of the ongoing show as we speak.Included are photos of the various collectors that showed up in military reenactor gear from various eras.
Included here are pics from Britains, Figarti,Collectors Showcase,Crown Military Miniatures.Just wanted to get these out to give everyone a first hand current view of what is taking place here in good old San Antonio. A lot of collectors showed up early this morning for the event, as people were lined up walking into the ballroom.
If you are considering coming Sunday as today was not feasable, it is hands down worth the trip..........^&grin ^&grin ^&grin

Great photo's, let's hope this time around the 222 has free turning wheels unlike TCS original static model, of course the Normandy version will the one I will be after. Thanks again for taking the time to send the visions of the day to the forum. Cheers, Robin.

Re: 2012 Texas Toy Soldier Show Dinner Symposium !!!!

The last grouping of pics includes one more enthusiast in period attire and pics from the Saturday Evening Dinner. The photo of the gentleman in the white shirt is
Daniel Martinez,host of several of the history programs aired on the Discovery Channels "Unsolved History" program.Daniel along with Helen from K&C sat at our Dinner table for the evening. Daniel is also a collector of hand painted metal figures. One of his passions is collecting figures from the Napoleonic Era amongst a few others.
The John Wayne personality spoke for about 15 minutes and gave a verbal biography of the "Duke" himself. The dinner ala buffet style meal was very good.
