All,

I am there! However this year I am going large man, I going to get a suite, room service and the whole nine. Yeah, no messing around this year.

last year...some of the Menger ghosts told me they are waiting for you to sleep over...
 
I wish I lived a little closer to the "Lone Star" state and could attend this show. It has become quite the event.

Looking forward to seeing pictures from it.

Hi John,

Friday 27 May around 5:00 PM is the Pre-Show Mixer in the Menger Hotel.
Saturday 28 May from 10:00 AM till 5:00 PM is the first day of the show.
Saturday evening around 7:00 PM is the Dinner / Symposium at the Menger
Sunday 29 May ........Day 2 of the Show....Usually 11:00 AM till 3:00 PM

10th Anniversary of the Texas Show......Should be a Blast !

I knew you spoke to the dead Mike Miller...I knew it! Besides I don't think I am going to stay at the Menger this year, I am looking for a new venue.

Is that Pre-Show Mixer the one where all you Texans drink beer with fruit in it.^&grin^&grin

Howard,

Beer with fruit? You mean like strawberries and mangos or something? No mate, the only fruit I know that goes with beer is Lime. It's those Nor(east)therners who like that fruity beer flavor stuff a la Samuel Adams. To me it's a sin to put oranges, pumpkins or something other than hops in beer. C'mon man give us a little more credit than that brother!!!

I don't recall seeing Figarti there the last few years. However, like Mike said, Thor does come to the show and in my opinion he brings more items to Texas than he does to the Westcoaster.

It is a great show, I highly recommend it.

Was just wondering if anyone had any news on Figarti maybe trying to make a re-entry splash at one of these upcoming shows. It was fun when they'd have some surprises at past Westcoaster's. I didn't realize Thor brings more product to the TX show than he does to CA. Thanks for the info!

I also used to enjoy the Figarti lunch at the Westcoaster. I still have the figures from each get together.

I am just guess-timating on Thor and the amount of products he brings to Texas in comparison to the Westcoaster. He certainly has a large presence at the show with one of the most popular set of tables.

Are you going to the Westcoaster this year?

Thor was actually a guest speaker there 2 years ago...
he has been there as a regular for years...
I really don't know if he is planning on coming this year...
and yes...he does bring a nice display as Jason says...

Figarti had a presence there a few years ago...
I think Carlos Codina (desk11desk12) either ran or helped his table...

I'm not sure but I think Matt Murphy (Hobby Bunker) has represented them the last few years...

really...just call Amber at Kings X...if they have already made plans on reserving tables for 2016...Amber will know it all...

Amber at Kings X...(210) 226-7000...

and the show is a ways off...so she might not be able to say at this point...
 
All,

Besides the vendors all we really need to know is if MIKE MILLER will be showing up on new beautiful ride? To see that is worth the price of admission alone.

Yeah, all the fruity beer is consumed by us northerners, no one else around the country drinks it, that's why you see 9,000 ads on tv promoting it.

Why don't you ask Mike Miller how northerners drink, he hung out with me ant Matt from First Legion Friday night at OTSN; we all did pretty good in the alcohol consumption department, thank you very much.

I'm gonna strap some dioramas onto the handlebars and back seat...and I'll see you there...^&grin

and George...yea...well...after we closed down the hotel bar...he was going to all the empty tables and drinking whatever was left in any glass...I was afraid he was gonna get alcohol poisoning...I had fun that night drinking with those two Boston rowdies...^&grin

good times...

here we are pretty sauced up...

me and George had to hold Matt (First Legion) up from falling down...he drank so much...his hair stood up straight...

you can always spot a drunk by those goofy eyes...

look at our eyes...^&grin
