Really looking forward to what Andy has in store for us in June.Any guesses as to what we might see for the 75th Anniversary of D-Day.Or anything you’d like to see released?

Picture was shared on Facebook with some Dday infantry and a new LCVP!😉

Where Scott please ?

Thank you.

Hi Guys,
Over the coming months K&C will be releasing no less than 18 all-new US Army Rangers in action on D.Day....Also coming down the line is the 'NORMANDY '44' version of our classic Higgins Boat LCVP Landing Craft...

There's even more Allied Infantry in action scheduled for later this year.

At this moment in time K&C are working on a new 12 page, full colour brochure for ALL our currently available US Army figures and vehicles for D.Day... for release in a few weeks time.

All the best and happy collecting!
Andy.

Any Axis forces/vehicles planned mate?

I'm really looking forward to the 18 Rangers and landing craft!

From the looks of it there is:

An LCVP - Updated version very similar to the 2 most recent LCVPs which were released but with new numbering and driver.

Andy has said 18 and they look awesome!

There is what looks like a Bazoooka team lying on the ground radio team, Ranger with a pole charge, looks like a medic running (could be wrong about this one) and 4 other infantry advancing forward. Crouching Tommy gunner, lying, kneeling and standing firing. Figure crouching with what looks like m1 rifle, Rifleman standing in a cone with me motion, and I think their is an officer or sergeant firing Thompson wearing assault vest!

Whatever they are, they look amazing and I will be adding them!

Thank you Andy!

Scott

I am in for all the Normandy stuff .
Pointe du Hoc, here we come !!!!!! ( diorama ideas are already floating in my head)
Guy:)

I just really hope the Rangers have the correct Tan webbing and not green olive drab.

From the looks of it Andy has produced them with only one figure wearing an assault vest which is extremely historically accurate so well done Andy!

The Higgins Boat looks very promising. Although mostly thought of in European Landing they were vital in the WWII Pacific.

FROM Wikipedia:

The Higgins boat was used for many amphibious landings, including Operation Overlord on D-Day in Nazi German-occupied Normandy, and previously Operation Torch in North Africa, the Allied invasion of Sicily, Operation Shingle and Operation Avalanche in Italy, Operation Dragoon, .....

....as well as in the Pacific Theater at the Battle of Guadalcanal, the Battle of Tarawa, the Battle of the Philippines, the Battle of Iwo Jima and the Battle of Okinawa.

Exciting times!

Exciting times!
Hi Larry,

I'm really looking forward to see pictures of the Higgins and other items K&C has planned for June. I'm excited!

In fact, I broke down my Desert Village this morning to set up a 'Somewhere in Normandy/Combat scene". Will post some pictures soon.

Rob,
If you look here:

then go to the "PHOTOS" link.

At about 11 rows down …… you will see a brochure that has some interesting shots.
