Forum member Wayne spotted this auction yesterday and posted the link, but maybe my title will wake everyone up as nobody responded to his post.It sure caught my attention !!!! This auction had a starting price of $595, but seller ended that auction and started a new auction with a BIN of $800 for some lucky buyer it looks like. What do you guys think????

Wow, a delayed, but VERY Merry Christmas to some lucky buyer. There were some hard to find sets in there-the catapult and scaling ladder sets caught my eye.

only sorry it wasn't me, the guy should have let the auction run. For 800 , that was a real steal. I am sure he was taken to the cleaners by another seller. I just hope a collector ended up with this.

That happens alot to me.........................:D:D
Yep a bargain to be had.

Wayne,
I just had a quick look and at US$ RRP the first 20 in the series are already worth more than $800 alone. That does
not include the fact some of those would get more than original RRP. Have not calculated US$ RRP for
the 91 figures sold ( a few were not K&C) but the value would have to be at least 4 x what seller sold
them for.

Whilst too late and purely wishful thinking I think a spotters fee on that bargain would have been
worthwhile as would only have been fair.

I think whoever bought them got the K&C bargain of the year. Hope seller did not include the
Medieval Collector Club figure as that usually goes for over $200 alone. Seems seller was impatient
to sell and should have let auction continue.

May be some will start appearing as single items on Ebay as the buyer resells them.

Have a great New Year.

Regards
Brett

I've been thinking about this one. Clearly the seller had no idea what they had on their hands which I think strongly suggests that the seller wasn't the buyer. My guess is a desceased estate and the seller was family. If only they'd paid more attention to their loved ones hobby.....
