Shermans are K&C plastic ones repainted in desert colours. just need to apply tansfers. still trying to persuade Andy to make some!

This is the best! I love the pipes and drums! Black Watch in full dress must have made for a hot parade and one well worth it, they look great.

Out of curiosity…How and where did you find so many figures..?
Your 8th Army Pipes & Drums has a very unique combination with 4x Pipers, 4x Tenor Drums, 4x Big Bass Drums and 4x Side Drummers… normally you would expect either 4,6 or 8 Pipers, just 2x Tenor Drums, 1x Bass Drum and 4x Side Drums..?
Anyway still a magnificent parade and Carlo’s buildings make a terrific ‘backdrop’.

Hi Andy,

My Pipes & Drums 8th Army band is enlarged. Someone was selling the individual figures years back so I added a few to make it look a bit larger.
Ive been collecting the 8th Army soldiers for a very long time, must be 10 years or so. They sometimes come up on ebay, so buy a few here a few there. Got a big bunch from one of your vendors in Holland or Germany via their website a few years ago. Stefano at Saimex often has some - he has some for sale right now but I think my collection is large enough - at least thats what the wife keeps telling me!!

Forgot to add Andy...

love your desert buildings. Had them first instead of Carlo's but just couldnt purchase all that I wanted. Especially the mosque - impossible to get with the base. So eventually gave up, sold those I had, and used Carlos.

please keep on with your desert buildings - just love them. You had a new one recently you were asking if you should put into production or not - please do! and remake all the others if you can and add some more. then I can make a whole village and im sure others would too as they can be used for so many different periods.
