A Big Aussie Thank You to K&C and America (1 Viewer)

You caught me!! Always fun to stir it up, life would be boring if we didn't engage in lively conversations!!!!! I just love Louis' reactions to the words Patton, Monty and MacArthur!!!!!!!! Reason being, he is just like me if someone mentions Sherman, as they say, it takes one to know one. All seriousness, those that know me, know I like to debate anything, no ill will ever intentioned, I think it is a great joy to better understand other's opinions/analysis even when I may not agree, i treat it as a learning experience. It is also fun to watch the blood pressure rise!!!!!!

You mean that great General William Tecumsa Sherman, who single handedly defeated the Confederate cause?:D:p:rolleyes:

Howard it was great fun meeting you and am glad you have posted. You are a wonderful ambassador for your country.

Simmo, Wayne, Brett, Obee & Oz,
Guys, I will be in Brisbane in June. Wouldn't miss it for quids. Have lots to tell that the Moderators wouldn't let on the Forum. Looking forward to catching up with you blokes.
I have some ideas to run pass you about an Australian Symposium which if it gets bigger enough could lead to an Aussie Toy Soldier Show. We would need to invite the Kiwis and guys like Raymond (Glossman) from Singapore, etc. and guest speakers like Louis, Larry, Tom or even The Kilted One or The Capitol One. Lots of ideas picked up from my trip.
Whose up for Chicago? Cheers Howard

I the kilted one would be honoured to ramble on. I have been known to be somewhat funny at times.

Chicago looks like a possibility. Great fun and wonderful treasures to be found.

Oh Gents - I wish I could come down to the land of OZ in June - but, I will be at the European Military Land Show in Paris !

JUNE must be reserved for FRANCE !!

Howard,

I love my toy soldiers, as anyone who knows me can attest too. But the hobby is so much more than just the collections, it is the actual collecting and meeting people like yourself that make it what it is.

Sitting and talking with you about K&C etc was truly special. You are a credit to this hobby and I am honored to count you among my friends.

Hello Howard,

Thanks very much for the kind mention in your despatch. I guess I must be pretty infamous by now.

As for an Australian Symposium/Australian Toy Soldier Show, I would be all for it.

However, I was hoping to make the London Show in June... but you never know.

Best Wishes, Raymond.:)
