Been home for nine weeks now having been stood down because of the virus and then breaking my little toe on my left foot but it has given me time to build something. A gothic church, still very much a work in progress but here some pictures. Plan on a bell tower and another out building as well.

Wayne, that's looking SO good ......

I'm sure that with the painting it will look so real, you could almost hear the choir singing ????

Well done,

John

Wayne...
you're a Hirst Art's brick casting machine...^&grin...
this is looking awesome!
I like your idea of reinforcing the walls with a thin sheet of wood...
smart idea...
helps keep things straight!
love your work!

Thanks Mike.
The reinforcing is two fold, also allows me to paste stained glass windows at a later stage.

Amazing work so far, I've always thought churches are a difficult prospect to build as they are never your regular shapes. Can't wait to see this one done. 👍🏻

Fantastic Wayne! you have some serious skills! Thank you for sharing and I'm looking forward to more photos hopefully.

Joe

Started adding the slate roof, a slow process, as I cast the slate tiles they go on the roof.
