BEAUTIFUL :salute:: thanks for sharing regards.... Gebhard

Very good choice. First legion is great in ancient ages soldiers.

Incredible detail to those figures.

Those are some FL lines I don't collect, but wow !

Great collection! Some pivotal battles/eras represented there. I think your pike formation and Landsknecht officers are the most impressive. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
Brendan

Stock photo does not have arrow in leg of Guillaume, that I could see anyway. Also, head gear not the same as stock photo - Looks good. Guillaume was killed and the Oriflamme sacred banner was lost.

That Prussian trooper is outstanding. The sculpting is unreal and the painting is very well done. So lifelike and vivid. Well done FL!
Cheers,
Brendan

Thanks Joe for the complement on the photos, but it's pretty easy to show at least some of the paint and sculpting detail of these fantastic mounted figures.

For the photos I am using an old second generation Nikon Coolpix with the figures arranged on a white science fair project board at the foot of bed. I am holding a LED flood light in one hand and camera in the other hand, resting on project board. I always did like the quality of the lens on this camera.

I had the original Pavia sets from when they were released. Much later I obtained the Glory of Rome sets and lately the other sets.

I was blown away by the mounted NAP figures – the sculpting beauty of the horse, the detail of rider and their hardware and the paint.

I collect from 500 BC to 1945 so when a new range is released and done well like Pavia, Macedonian and Agincourt it’s great that I can include these battles and time periods in my collection.

Donnie, You're very welcome and thank you for sharing the crystal clear pics. You have found a great recipe for capturing FL's artistry in images. I too am blown away by the NAP figures, so much so that I had to buy the mounted Saxon officer even though I don't collect NAPS!

I have Alexander and two of his companions and will likely be adding some of those stellar French knights you photographed to my growing FL collection. I used to be more of K & C collector but for various reasons I find myself drawn more and more to FL as time passes.

Thanks again and enjoy that wonderful collection of yours!!:)
Joe
