I assume the truck is 1/32 scale, but it looks fine, as I was told by a good friend if it looks OK then it is.Comments on scale yes/no.....maybe :salute::

I reckon the truck might be 1:24 scale but Wayne will clarify that.

Looks about right to me mate, you just need to whip the truck to John's joint and ask him to weather it up for ya!

It reads “Freiwillige Feuerwehr Erding“ on it. Erding is a Munich suburb. The engines are the pride of the voluntary fire brigades and are washed by the members every other day. I think the curriculum of these associations is training, cleaning the engine and drinking.
Dirt on this engine would hence be highly unrealistic. But you need to accessorize it with any beer related items, though. The beer from Erding is one of my favorites, especially the Weißbier.

I had an exchange student from Erding, and spent a few months there in high school.
Here is a photo of the fire truck with 2 men in the shot. One is slumping but they should give an idea of size.

Thanks Terry and all for their comments I will leave it the color it is and maybe slightly dust up the wheels it is a great model,maybe get another one and build it myself and paint it Grey and weather the ****t out of it.
I just need a bucket to hang off the back mate {sm4}
