Once again very nicely done Michael. With all of the great photos you've posted before and after of the series this is my favorite batch of them. You sue have been one busy dude. Thanks Michael for sharing them and the time it's taken for you to share it all with us....The Lt. aka your Papa Zulu

I don't know if you guys know this yet...but I got an email from John saying that the April shipment was going to be a little delayed this month...with the London show and his visiting his family...his delivery is going to be a little late...I was really looking forward to the scalping pole sets as soon as possible to add to this diorama...but John really tries hard to get his stuff out punctually...so I can't complain...

abenaki village looks incredible mike!!!!!!!!!! you are the guru of diorama's. keep up the great work:D

Thank you...

Aurele...

sure are a lot of Mark's on here...:D

These are nice pieces...
one of them looks really tall...
John doesn't give the dimensions...
but the tallest one looks 7-8 inches in height...
in the picture it's next to the large longhouse which is 5 inches tall...
Scarouyady is supposed to ship early April...as per his website...
so John's late shipment might get it out to us this upcoming month...

WOW! and WOW! again Michael. I can't believe I missed this thread. Just now catching up with it. Very, very nicely done sir. This is absolutely my favorite of all your FIW displays that you have been so kind to share on the forum.
Mike

I got a few pieces for my Abenaki village...

the two scalping poles and the two Indian figures...

glad to see John doing more Indians...

these are left to right...

JJClub set #2 Scarouyady (who would probably not be in this village on friendly terms...he was allied with the British)

and

Michael,

Your village is looking excellent!! Those are two nice Indian figures.

Just an outstanding series of shots. The village is fantastic and I love the use of the canoes. JJD sure makes great and varied figures to put these scenes together with, but the imagination you have makes it all work so well. More, please. -- Al

Thank you Titus...Al...

I'm hoping the lookout tower would be released next month...but I doubt it...I would expect the palisade entrance pieces first...I think John's plans are to issue some Rangers attacking...anyway...I have enjoyed collecting this series...

Brillant work as Always, and especially love the bear skin. I would add the picked corn stacks/pumpkins by WBritians. It has some color and some bulk: http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/detail.aspx?ID=3161

WBritians makes a similar wheat/hay stack as well.

Thanks Ken...

I never liked the scale of the bearskin before...he must have been huge...hahahaha...

I had taken it apart and re-done the fur...cutting of probably 500 pounds or so from his original size...

I think this fur looks better...at least the scale does...
